Luke sat at his usual table, solving all of his math homework in his head, this being incredibly easy considering he was at the top of his class and was even offered to graduate early this year, but he refused. He didn't want to rush anything and get overwhelmed.

Luke was a junior, and was currently sixteen. He was always the youngest since his birthday was in July.

Every once in a while, Luke would reach under his sleeve and stratch at his wrist absentmindedly. It would've pained anyone to know what Luke was going through, physically and mentally.

Michael sat at his favorite table with his best friend Sara. You see, Sara's transgender, male to female, but Michael never seemed to mind. It was just in his nature to accept differences in people, even if it took some getting used to.

"Did you finish you're assignment on desires?" Sara asked Michael, sitting down across from him. They had an assignment for art due today, so they had to make sure it was finished.

"No, I'm gonna finish it while I eat." He answered, taking his sketchbook out of his backpack.

"What'd you do it on?"

"Well, I didn't want to do something lame like love, or happiness, or something really really fucking stupid like money. I ended up narrowing it down to food or words. But I went with words cause food's kinda weird." He chuckled at his stupid idea.

"Yeah, it is." She nodded.

Michael continued his very thoughtful and confusing drawing. It was a person in all black, with dark hair, red lips, and black rimmed glasses. But the thing that made this drawing significant was that it didn't have eyes and the mouth had been stitched together.

Michael drew a single tear on the person's cheek, letting the world know that they wanted to be heard but were just unable to.

Ashton and his crew of cheerleading bitches made their way to their special table, also known as the popular table.

Ashton was the head cheerleader, so he was in charge of the whole team. Ashton wasn't a bitch (most of the time), but quite a few of the people on the squad were.

"Ugh, why are we forced to go to school with freaks like them?" Payton, a team member, complained, pointing at the loner boy with blonde quiffed hair, the artist with turquoise hair and an eyebrow piercing, the other artist that was transgender, and the group of theater geeks practicing their lines at their table. Ashton just rolled his eyes.

"No, no, Blaire, more emotion." Calum corrected his friend after she read her line.

"Okay, okay, so like should I be like mad or sad?" She asked him.

"It's your character, do what you want with it." He told her, shrugging and biting into a fry.

"By the way, who wrote this?" Blaire asked curiously.

The play they were currently working on was given to them by their theater arts teacher, who got it from an english teacher, saying that one of their students had randomly handed it in one day. The student wanted to stay anonymous because he didn't like attention. Plus, he didn't think it was too good, but little did Luke know, it was one of the best plays this school has ever gotten to perform.

"I don't know, Ms.Rose won't tell us, not even me. And we all know I'm her favorite." Calum said cockily.

"You cocky son of a bitch." Blaire shook her head and hit his arm.

"What else is new?" He shrugged.

Suddenly, Ashton burst out of his seat, throwing his fists down on the table.
