"Open your eyes for me, just one more time"👑
Three days. It's been three days.
Day 1.
Dion exits his room at 8:16. He is fully dressed, two buttons undone just like the day before. He meets up with Aiden halfway through the corridors and heads to class. Students look at him wherever he goes, but Dion ignores them. Allan and Jake follow Dion to class, and watch him get out an hour later, standing in the distance so they won't get caught. Dion continues through every class, not changing his expression even once. He doesn't see Aiden during the morning or afternoon classes. Allan and Jake figure that they must be in different grades and departments.Dion eats lunch at 1:31. Allan and Jake sit on the table next to him as usual, observing his movements which look just the same as before. Allan can't help but find him more interesting as time passes. He wants to know who Dion really is, not just this fake facade that he has put up around himself.
Dion heads to a student council meeting on the third floor, and while he is in Allan and Jake explore the building and make maps of the floors. They manage to get back in time just as Dion exits the meeting room. They follow him all the way to his dorm room, where Dion disappears and doesn't show up again.
Day 2.
This morning Dion is earlier than last time. He exits his room at 7:50, walking through the empty corridors and getting breakfast. Allan and Jake wonder if Dion usually skips breakfast or if he has some in his own dorm. Either way they sit next to him in the cafeteria and observe once more. Dion looks tired and hungry, letting down his guard because the lunchroom is so empty. Jake takes notice of how timid he looks when he lets go a little of that facade. They might have forgotten that he is their enemy for a second.Classes continue normally and Dion continues with his disciplined look. What changed this time is that he meets up with Aiden at lunchtime and they eat together. Allan and Jake realize that they might look a little suspicious, and eat further away from them. They almost miss Dion, but catch up with him just as he enters his dorm room. He doesn't exit the room again that day.
Day three, today.
Allan and Jake are currently waiting for Dion outside his dorm room. They are standing behind a corner so that Dion won't see them when he exits. It's 8:10 and they figure he must be skipping breakfast, considering that they haven't seen him buy any food for the past days.
"Do you think he's coming out soon?"
Jake whispers with a sigh to his boyfriend. He is quite bored of standing outside Dions room for so many hours, just so they won't miss him when he goes to class. But minutes pass and they still can't see Dion. Allan begins to wonder if he doesn't have classes today, or if he is sick. But according to his records, Dion has never missed class before, not even when he is sick either.
"The classes he takes are in the school records that Kyle got for us, and he has biology in ten minutes, he must come out soon"
The two wait in silence, until finally a tired Dion opens his door and rushes out. He once again has two buttons undone on his shirt, and his uniform is otherwise perfect. But even though he looks somewhat calm as usual, Allan and Jake can see the panic in his gray eyes. Dion is late, too late for someone who doesn't run. So the black haired boy takes quick steps, and the two other boys follow silently.
Jake gulps when they near the glass pathways, the bridges that lead from one second floor to the other. You have to cross them to get from the dorms to class, especially if you need to get there as fast as possible. Even though most people would find it beautiful to walk on glass bridges over the fountains and marble floors below, Jake is terribly scared of heights. Every time they have to cross the bridges he gets scared, and Allan is starting to notice. Maybe it's the fact that they are see-through that makes him scared.
