Here's part 2 to Christmas Tree Farm. I hope you like it. Also, since this is set 3-4 years in the future, Julie is 19 or 20 and has her own apartment.
Willie and Alex swayed together for a while until they realized that it was getting a bit late and they should head to bed.
They changed into their nightwear and got in bed together. Willie laid his head on Alex's chest, listening to his heartbeat.
"This has been the best Christmas eve, ever, baby. I love getting to spend everyday with you." Alex said, running his fingers through Willie's hair.
"I love getting to spend everyday with you. It makes every moment special." Willie said, snuggling in closer to Alex.
Willie looked up at Alex, his head still laying on his chest. Alex looked at him and leaned in, connecting their lips.
"Good night. I love you." Willie said.
"I love you, too." Alex said, as they fell asleep in each other's embrace.
*Time skip to next day. Christmas day.*
Willie woke up to see that Alex wasn't in bed with him anymore. He got up, put on Alex's pink hoodie, and headed to the kitchen. Alex had made them breakfast. Willie smiled at the sight. Alex saw Willie and made his way over to him.
"Merry Christmas, baby." Alex said, kissing Willie on the lips and giving him a hug.
"Merry Christmas." Willie said.
"I made us breakfast." Alex grinned.
"It smells delicious."
"Thank you."
"But... could we maybe snuggle for the morning?" Willie asked, sticking his bottom lip out.
"But we have to meet everyone at Julie's apartment today."
"We don't have to be there until like one."
"Okay." Alex smiled as Willie pulled him back into their bedroom and onto the bed.
The couple snuggled for the morning in each other's embrace.
Alex's alarm on his phone went off at eleven, telling them they need to get ready to go to Julie's. They had to prepare a cake and get all their presents for their friends.
"So when do you want us to break the news to everyone?" Alex asked Willie, swiping frosting on his nose.
"Hey!" Willie giggled. "That's completely up to... you." Willie said "you" while swiping frosting into Alex's nose.
Alex glared at Willie playfully. Alex took his finger and took some of the frosting off Willie's nose and licked it off his finger.
"Mmmmm. You make good frosting."
"Thank you. Now we should probably frost the cake before it all winds up on our noses." Willie giggled.
"Yeah. That's probably best."
The two boys giggled as they got ready to frost the cake.
After they finished they got ready to go to Julie's apartment.
Alex got more and more nervous as time got closer to them having to go to Julie's. Willie noticed him fidgeting more than normal in the car on the way there.
"Alex? Are you okay? You seem nervous."
"Wha- no. No, I'm fine. I- ugh. I'm so nervous. I don't know how I'm supposed to do all this." Alex put his head in his hands, rubbing his face. "I'm sorry. This is so stupid."
"Alex," Willie pulled the car over into a parking lot. He parked and turned to look at Alex. "What you feel is not stupid and I will be with you. I wouldn't have asked you to marry me if I didn't know what was going to come with that. You are amazing and yeah, you have anxiety but from now on I will be there for you and with you if you need me."
Alex wiped his eyes and gave a soft smile.
"I love you and I'll always be here for you too."
Willie gave a soft smile in return. "Now, do you wanna go to the party or should we go back home?"
"We need to go to the party and I think I'll be okay."
"Okay." Willie started the car again and drove to Julie's apartment.
They rang the doorbell and Julie opened the door. She was wearing a cute Christmas sweater and some black leggings.
"Hey, you two!" She said, smiling and ushering them inside.
Willie put the cake down on the counter with the other foods. "Merry Christmas, Julie. Thanks for having us over." He said.
"Of course! You guys are always welcome over here."
"So... how's it been?" Alex asks, watching Julie get down some plates from the cabinet.
"It's been pretty good around here. Luke and I have been writing some songs that we're excited to show you guys but they're not quite finished. Anyway, how have you two been?"
"We've been pretty good... um... we do have something to tell you and everyone else at some point today."
"Okay..." Julie looked at Willie and Alex with a slightly confused face.
The rest of the day played out like it was planned. They hung around the living area and kitchen, opening presents, talking and laughing, and eating the food that was brought.
Willie laid his chin on Alex's shoulder as they watched Luke, Reggie, and Julie giggling and playing around.
"If you, at any point, feel like you're going to have an anxiety attack or you need to step out for a moment, you tell me. Okay?" Willie whispers to Alex.
Alex nods. "Okay." He sighs.
Julie looked over at Alex. "Didn't you have something you wanted to tell us?"
"Um..." Alex fiddled around with his fingers.
Willie rubbed his back, making sure he'd be okay.
"Willie proposed and I said yes." Alex breathed out, holding up his hand showing everyone the ring on his finger.
Everyone was so excited. They all said congrats and hugged the two.
"Finally! What took so long?!" Reggie said, smiling.
"Shut up!" Alex giggled, gently shoving him.
Alex didn't feel as bad as he thought he would. Yes, there was some anxiety build up but he took a deep breath and knew Willie would be there for him if he needed.
"You two are adorable." Julie smiled at Alex.
After a while it was time for Alex and Willie to head home. They said their goodbyes and happy holidays and got in their car. When Alex sat down, he sighed.
"You okay?" Willie asked, looking at Alex.
"Yeah." Alex said softly with a small smile. "I've got you and them. Everything I could ever want."
Willie smiled. "And I've got everything I could ever want."
Willie started the car and the two drove back to their apartments singing along to the Christmas songs that were playing on the radio.
*time skip to 12:10 am*
Alex and Willie were laying in bed. Alex's head on Willie's chest. They were holding hands. Their fingers intertwined.
"I love you so much." Alex said, kissing the back of Willie's hand.
"I love you too, hot dog." Willie said softly.
Alex chuckled at the old nickname and nuzzled in closer to Willie. He was happy and content because he had everything he ever wanted and more. The whole world right next to him every single night.
