Bryce still had a hold on Chuck as they made their way down a hall. You, Sarah and Casey were still following them and had a team behind them as well, guns ready.
"Stand down! Don't do this, Bryce. We're all on the same side here." Sarah said approaching slowly.
"What side is that?"
" I've got a shot." Casey said.
" No, you don't." Chuck said, freaking out.
"You'll be fine."
"No shooting! No shooting! I'm susceptible to bullets."
"Casey don't. I'm not letting you risk Chuck's life like that." You said stepping in.
Bryce dragged Chuck into an elevator.
"The access code! I'll kill him, Sarah!" Bryce threatened.
" Between you and me, I think he means it." Chuck said.
You looked over at Sarah pleading. Sarah sighed.
"Five-one-six-zero-two."
Bryce punched it in and the doors began to shut.
"Y/N." Chuck called out for you before the doors shut.
Once the door shut, Bryce let Chuck go and laughed a little, slapping him on the shoulder.
"You knew I wouldn't do it, right?"
"No! No, I did not know that." Chuck said a little angry, turning to face him. "How would I know that, Bryce? What are you trying to do?"
" What's Sarah doing here?"
"She's protecting me and Y/N, okay. And so is Casey. We're the good guys. Look, you need to stop this right now, before someone, namely me, gets hurt."
" Too soon. We're slowing down."
" We don't have to do the whole thing." Chuck said pointing to his neck and then Bryce grabbed hold of him again.
" Wait, don't, don't..."
The door opened and there was a man standing there.
"Stop this elevator..." Bryce started and stopped when he noticed who the man was.
" Bryce. Who's your friend?"
Chuck then flashed on the man. He was bad news. And the word Fulcrum came up.
"You step back." Bryce warned.
" Okay. I wouldn't want you to kill some random person. I'd feel just terrible."
" Tell your people that I'm gone."
"This is your chance, Bryce. This is me being reasonable. Let's go. Let's be friends again."
" We were never friends."
" Ouch. Now my feelings are hurt. You're gonna run, aren't you?"
Bryce nodded.
" Good."
And then the elevator door shut and Bryce released Chuck once again.
"Who was that?" Chuck asked.
"Nobody."
"What's fulcrum?"
Bryce eyes widened.
"Where did you hear that?"
"The intersect." Chuck said pointing to his head. " I have these flashes."
