Stuck on Duke's Boat Audrey and Duke

A/N-Originally published on December 12th, 2020, I don't know what happened but for some reason this book unpublished as I was making edits. So now as I finish the I will just have to put there original dates, luckily I had only published two stories so far. Please remember that I don't own any of these characters, or this story as this is my thoughts on how this episode should have went. Remember that votes and comments are always appreciated.

A/N= This story was inspired by an episode of the Syfy network show called Haven, which is one of my favorite shows of all times. And will sadly be taken off of Netflix on January 14th 2021, at which point I might just cry but that's a story for another day. As I was saying, this story is inspired from Haven Season 1, Episode 11 called "The Trial of Audrey Parker" Now if you're a fan of the show you'll most likely know what this episode is about, but if not than I'll give you a brief description. So while working a case on Duke's boat (ship) whatever, Audrey's boss Agent Howard came to town wanting to know why Audrey isn't doing her job properly. Meanwhile the guys whom Audrey had actually been looking into take Duke and everyone on the ship hostage, since they want something that Duke has. After escaping from the room she been held in Audrey and Duke, save the day, of course in order to do this it takes a little imagination, team work, and a nearly naked Duke. Which I won't lie, that is probably my FAVORITE part! So this is where my story begins, so I have taken a lot more from the show, than I'd normally would in writing this story, but this is how I feel that this episode should have played out, so theirs that! For the record I do not own Haven, or its characters this is just the work of a crazy fan, who ships Audrey Parker and Duke Crocker. Audrey wasn't sure why she had such a bad feeling about the guys that Duke had told her about, so when he invites her to their poker game on Friday night, she couldn't say "No!" After that first night she knew that her gut feeling wasn't wrong, there was definitely something up with these two, she knew that she should probably tell Nathan since he was her partner, but she didn't want to involve him until it was absolutely necessary, plus even though he and Duke seemed to be getting along better than they had when she'd first gotten into town, she knew that Duke still wasn't one of Nathan's favorite people so she decided to wait. This was why she'd not brought this up to Duke yet either, over the next few days Audrey done a massive amount of digging, and had finally found what she'd needed. Her plan had been simple go to Duke's boat, and play poker watching the two guys closely, and if she'd been right then she'd call Nate, and they'd make an arrest. However that wasn't how the night went, since half way through Audrey seen that she had missed four calls from Nathan, so she'd left the table to return his call. This was when Nathan informed her that her boss, Agent Howard, from the F.B.I was in town, and looking for her, "Here, as in Haven, right now?" Audrey was asking as she heard the man she was talking about saying "That's exactly what it means, Miss Parker, we need to talk! Is there a place we can do that in private?" without ever asking the ships owner Audrey allowed the older man to climb aboard, then she lead him towards a stateroom on the next floor. Once the two made it to the room Agent Howard says "You seem to be very comfortable on this ship, not to mention that you know your way around, is there something that you'd like to tell me, before we get started?" "Are you asking me if I'm sleeping with Duke? Because if you are, well I am sorry sir, but that's none of your business! However the answer is no, I'm not! Duke and I are just friends." Audrey tells her boss. As the two sat talking about the people, and the work that the blonde F.B.I Agent had been doing while in the small town they heard the door being close and locked, Agent Howard wanted to assume that it was the boats owner, but Audrey knew better, and said as much as she began to try and call Nathan. Of course by now the boat had been moving for about ten minutes, and they were to far at sea for cell phones to have service, so she had to improvise, afterwards she started to find a way out of the room. Of course Howard still wanted to talk, now however his topic was the boats owner, which Audrey was quick to tell the man just how wrong he was about her friend.
