Love at first ice || Ethan Dolan

Chapter 1

8:32am the time on my phone displayed". I got up to have a shower when a notification appeared on the front screen of my phone. It was a message from Jesse, he was asking if i and my best friend Mia wanted to go ice skating with him and a couple of mates.
"Im in,let me just see if Mia's in" i reply.
I then scroll through my contacts until i find Mia's name and then i press call.
"Hello"
"Hey Mia how are you?"
"Yeah good, yourself"
"Great, so Mia, Jesse sent me a message asking if we wanted to go ice skating with him and a couple of mates. You in?"
"Yeah sure what time?"
"Um idk i'll ask Jesse and i'll get back to you,if you want i can pick you up"
"Yeah that would be great, okay i guess i'll see you soon"
"Alrite cya"
I then sent a message to Jesse asking what time we are going and he said around 10am. By now it was 9:10am so i send a message to Mia tellin her she has to be ready by 9:30am coz i'll be at her house by that time. So i quickly got dressed in a warm knitted top with jeans because it is so cold in the ice skating rink.

I then put my wooly uggs on and grabed my phone, bag and coat.
I then headed downstairs, and in the kitchen was mum and johnny by 13 year old brother we are 3 years apart and you'd think that we would absolutely despise eachother but because its only us two we are surprisingly really close.
"And where are you going today honey", mum asks.
"Oh mum Jesse invited Mia and i to go ice skating with them". I reply"
"Oh yeah, when will you be back"
"Not sure why?"
"I was thinking maybe the three of us could go see a movie tonight"
"Oh yeah im in, i should be back in time"
"Hey Kendall, tommorrow can you drive me to ben's house" asks Johnny
"Hmmm let me think about it, hehe yeah sure what time?" I ask
"Around 10am"he replies
"yeah sure".
"Thanks sis your the best"he tells me
"No probs baby bro anything for you"
I then kiss mom on the cheeck and johnny on the forehead and grab my keys and head out the door.
I then send a message to Mia telling her im on my way.
As im driving into the driveway i see Mia coming out the door wearing a white coat with black jeans and a white beanie.
"Hey girl" Mia greets me.
"Hey" i reply.
"So which ice skating rink we going too?" Mia asks.
"The outdoor one"i reply
"Oh yeah, so how's your mom and johnny?" She asks
"Yeah their good were going to the movies tonight".
"Oh yeah what movie"Mia asks
"I have no clue, i hope it's that new johnny depp movie" i reply.

We finally arrive at the ice skating rink and i see Jesse waiting in front of the stand where you pay and get your skates.
"Hey Jesse" i shout out.
We then walk up to him and he greets us back.
"Hey i thought you said your bringing friends" Mia asked.
"Yeah there just running a little late they'll be here soon."

We then all rented skates and headed off to the rink. As we were headed there Mia looked really worried i then asked her if she's ever been ice skating and she said yeah but i guess you forget for a second how to ice skate until you jump in the rink.

As we got used to skating withiout holding on we saw a few boys approach Jesse, must be his mates. We can't really see their faces u til we got closer and there right there standing infront of me was a built, handsome boy with dark hair and tanned skin he was um how can i put it...HOT!
"Kendall and Mia these are my good mates Ethan, Grayson and Cameron". Jesse introduces us.

"Hi im Ethan",he says after shaking my hand firmly.
"Im Kendall, nice to meet you" i reply.
"Yeah you too".he says.
After we met eachother we all hoped back into the rink.

We were all sakting when all i see is this boy going full speed ahead uncontrollably. He comes straight into me and ofcourse i fell straight on my leg.
"Ouch". i cry.
"Are you okay?". Ethan asks me.
"I think my leg is broken". i reply
Ethan then helps me up, thou i can't walk. He then picks me up holding me with one arm under my legs and one around my back tightly gripped.
"I think we need to get her to a hospital". Mia says.
Ethan carries me out of the tink, luckily we were near the exit.

We take of out skates and we all head to the car.
"Im so sorry guys i really didn't want to ruin this fun night for us all so how about you all go on and i'll call my mom to pick me up and take me to the hospital". i say
"No don't worry i'll take you" Ethan replies.
"No,no it's okay i'll get mom to take me". I say.
"No seriously i'll take you, guys i'll take Kendall and you guys can continue on amd we will then all meet up afterwards. Okay" . Ethan says.

So then he places me gently in the car and we head off to the hospital, i called my mom to assure her that i will be fine and she said maybe we can do our movie night tommorrow. She had to go to work it was an emergency. She works as an accountant and they needed her to finish off the paperwork . She left Johnny with his mates so i'll just have to pick him up on my way back home.
"Thanks again for taking me to the hospital you really didn't have to". i say
"Yeah i know but i wanted to and plus you looked really hurt" he replied

We kept chatting on the way to the hospital to take my mind off the excruciating pain i was in.
