The Mystical feeling II

Chapter # 8

"Brats, from now on they're gonna teach ya'll some sakka!", the pink haired woman exclaimed enthusiastically and turned to the trio, "I'm leaving these bunch in your care".

"Please take good care of us!", The kids yelled in chorus.

"Yes, you can count on us", Taiyou said with a confident smile.

Hikaru and Hakuryuu just nodded and shared glances.

"Now kids, why don't ya show them your sakka ground!"

"Aye aye!", The kids replied and lead the trio to the soccer field.

HIKARU'S POV

The kids seemed quite cheerful but a little bit over confident. They all asked us three to follow them.

Before going after them, I gave a quick glance at Tori San. She was smiling but it was not a genuine smile.

I've seen this smile before, either in the form of Akiyama san or that of Kibayama.

After reaching the ground, Taiyou kun asked each of the kids for their introduction.

"I'm Koji and I'm gonna be the best goalkeeper like the great Endou Mamoru!", A spiky raven haired boy introduced himself first.

"I'm JuJu and I'm an ace not less than the Legendary Ace Striker himself!", an auburn haired boy added.

Geez, they are really not hiding their over confidence.

The rest of them also introduced themselves the same way. I noticed Hakuryuu rolling his eyes. He must be really pissed off.

"Wow, that's so great. You all are really amazing!", Taiyou kun boosted their confidence to the sky.

"Well, if you all are really amazing and great, then why are we wasting our time on you?", Hakuryuu snickered. 

From his expression you can tell he's not happy to help these kids. He had a point there. It's not that we have come here to listen to their babblings.

The kids shared glances and looked really disappointed. Well, except for those two boys Koji and JuJu.

"We're aiming for the best, we want to show you all what we have got!", Koji exclaimed pointing towards us.

"Well seems like someone need to bring you idiots down to the earth!", Hakuryuu  grinned. He's obviously looking down on them as always....

"Bring it on! I hope you won't run away crying after losing to us", he added.

"Is this going to be okay?", I asked Taiyou kun.

"I think it will be fine", he replied. "This way we can see what they are lacking and teach them that."

I nodded and followed them behind.

NORMAL POV

Hikaru and the others took their respective positions.

"Have you even ever done goalkeeping before?", Hakuryuu asked Hikaru. In Hakuryuu's mind Hikaru was still a weakling who couldn't keep up with him and the other SEEDs. So naturally, he thought Hikaru might bring them down and embarrass him in front of the kids he wanna beat so much 

"Yes", she replied. Her eyes narrowed on him as to make a point.

Hakuryuu snickered, "Well then, don't let us down."

"I won't", she gritted her teeth. Hikaru knew what's going on Hakuryuu's mind, after alltgey both trained in the same facility. The fifth Sector, it brought many unwanted memories that she now don't want to recall.

"Guys, seems like they don't even have cooperation among them. Don't hesitate to beat them up!", The raven haired boy addressed his team.

"Hai!!", The kids all cheered up.

The match began with the whistle. The ball was in the kids' possession.
JuJu ran with the ball, dribbling through Taiyou and Hakuryuu.

He then jumped high and kicked the ball to the net yelling, " ACE FIRE! "

The kids grinned as they were confirmed that they had goaled already. But to their demise, the ball was stopped by Hikaru singlehandedly.

"Is this all you got?", She asked while looking at the ball. "I didn't even get to show off my abilities much."

The kids grim at this, while Hakuryuu grinned smugly. Hikaru kicked the ball to Taiyou, he smiled and ran with the ball.

He passed the ball to Hakuryuu who jumped high and kicked the ball, yelling " WHITE HURRICANE!"

The ball went straight to the net, letting Koji standing there, just baffled.
