as corbyn had predicted, jonah and keiya did eventually lose their pants. it was a habit the entire band had picked up from all the touring they had done together over the last two years. currently, the two were cuddled together on jonah's couch, knee deep into kill you darlings, enjoying the drama. keiya had her head on jonah's lap, a blanket at her hips and one of jonah's arms splayed over her shoulder, allowing keiya to play with his fingers. his other hand played with the light strands of her hair. he was distracted when a phone lighted in a message, noticing keiya's phone was tucked behind her on the couch. leaning over he saw the name of the person that had sent the younger girl a text. nakia monroe.
jonah smiled at the purple heart by her name. he knew that keiya and nakia had been talking for a few months at that point, but he wasn't sure if their relationship had evolved past that yet. he knew that keiya had feelings for the girl, he could tell by the way she acted whenever they were on facetime together, like the other day when he had come into her room. she was excited but calm and comfortable around nakia, and jonah could almost see the butterflies fluttering in her stomach whenever they talked. he knew she wasn't ready to come out publicly yet, wanting to keep that part of her life private for the time being, but that didn't mean the two girls shouldn't get together. "nakia texted you," he said, chuckling when the blonde in his lap lifted her head quickly to check her phone. she smiled lightly as she tapped out a quick response before placing the phone back into its spot. "so what's going on between you guys? you going out or...?" he asked, watching as the blonde immediately blushed in response.
"no, not yet at least," keiya started, playing with her fingers shyly. "she's going to be out in la for work soon, we were talking about going out then."
"so you like her," "kinda" "that's so fucking cute!" jonah exclaimed, making his blonde counterpart flush even more.
"stop saying that!"
"it is, you guys are good together!" "thanks, I think."
