"Here's your drink Mark," Ten said with a sickeningly sweet tone as he handed Mark a cup of coffee before sliding into the chair across from him. He glanced over at the door of the coffee shop and sighed, what the hell was taking Jungwoo so long? "So how have you been? Getting good grades I assume?"
The younger's eyebrows furrowed slightly, but he nodded regardless of his arising suspicion. "I've been good. Uh as much as I love going to coffee with somebody I barely know...why am I here?"
"Oh y'know I just wanna get to know Johnny's friends." Ten flashed another fake smile before turning back towards the door.
"I really don't want to be here, can we please just go back? I don't even like being outside. How would this make me feel better?" Haechan pleaded while Jungwoo yanked at his arm, dragging him through the cafe. The youngest continued to whine about wanting to go home until they stopped in front of Ten. His eyes widened, filling with tears as he looked between Mark and Jungwoo. "W—Why am I here? Please take m—me home."
Looking up from his phone at the familiar voice, Mark froze upon seeing his now ex boyfriend. "I..." The second he saw the tears roll down Haechan's cheeks, he had to keep himself from jumping up and wiping them away. "I don't understand."
Jungwoo forced the youngest to sit down before taking a seat next to Ten. "You guys need to sort things out, and you can't do that if Haechan doesn't leave my dorm."
"There's nothing to sort out! He doesn't like me anymore." He hissed. The boy was no longer crying, but infuriated that his friends would do such a thing behind his back.
Mark's expression softened when he heard those words. "Channie...that's not true."
"Don't call me that!"
The elder rolled his eyes, "You've always gotta be a brat, huh?"
"I'm a bit concerned this might turn physical, but I still want to watch," Jungwoo whispered to Ten, who put a hand over the boys mouth so he didn't ruin the moment.
"Mark, you broke up with me!"
"Because you're a brat Haechan." Mark spat before taking an unnecessarily dramatic drink of his coffee.
The youngest scoffed, "You don't pay attention to me. You're always with your friends...how do you want me to act?"
Slamming his coffee cup down onto the table, he gave Haechan an exasperated look. "How about talking to me about how you're feeling instead of deleting all of my contacts?"
"You didn't respond to my texts or calls for a whole week, Mark. I thought you were fucking dead, but you were just ignoring me...I got mad."
Ten's eyes widned, "Huh?"
"Don't act like you weren't cheating on me with Renjun." Mark mumbled, his eyes glued to the table top.
"Is that what all of this is about?" Haechan asked, his voice a lot gentler than before. "We've already talked about this. Renjun is just my friend, I'd never cheat on you. I love you, Mark."
Leaning over to Jungwoo, Ten whispered, "I think they're both psychopaths. I love Haechan but this is toxic."
Jungwoo went to respond but then saw something out of the corner of his eye. "Oh—oh my god! Ten!" He yelled, pointing at the two who were now making out. Haechan had climbed onto Mark's lap, the elders hand roaming the boys body in way too inappropriate way for being in public.
"Will you two stop!" The eldest hissed, swatting the back of Haechan's head.
Rushing to get out of the booth, Jungwoo almost sent himself flying across the room, "Me and Ten are leaving, I hope you don't get arrested for public indecency." He quickly grabbed Ten's hand and pulled the smaller boy out of the cafe behind him. "What the hell did we just do?"
"I...I don't know. But now I think I'm going to stay out of other peoples business." He muttered.
"No you won't."
Ten sent the younger a smile before nodding, "No I won't."
✨✨✨
"Johnny~" Jungwoo whined as he threw himself onto the elder, "You never talk to me anymore."
Johnny gave him an offended look, "Me? You only talk to Lucas!"
"You only talk to Ten!"
"Well let's hang out then!"
An excited smile spread across Jungwoo's face, "Yay ok."
"Are you free tomorrow? I'll take you on a date?" Johnny asked, causing Ten's head to pop up from across the room. He quickly got up and speed walked over to the two, he grabbed his boyfriends phone and tried to figure out who he just said that to.
"Who were you talking to, hoe?"
Johnny pointed to the boy in his arms, "Him."
Ten frowned, "Damn I thought something exciting was happening." He let himself fall on the bed next to the two, curling up to Johnny's side, "Where's Lucas anyway?"
"He's taking an exam," Jungwoo muttered angrily.
"Wow what're we doing?" Sicheng asked as him and Yuta burst into the dorm hand in hand. "Not much apparently."
"Sichengie!" The youngest exclaimed happily before reaching out for his friend that he hadn't seen in what seemed like forever. "I missed you!" Joining the heap of people on the bed, Sicheng jumped on top of his friends, a grin spread across his face.
Jungwoo pouted slightly, "All we need is Seongie and Lucas and this would be perfect."
Yuta awkwardly sat down on the edge of the bed, not wanting to crush Johnny any further. However, his intentions were deemed useless when Ten grabbed his hand and pulled him down with them. "Aw Yuta's shy~" Ten cooed, reaching out to pinch the elders cheek.
He quickly swatted the hand away and grumbled, "I'm not shy."
"He's been in a bad mood all day," Sicheng said quietly before ruffling his boyfriends hair.
"You wouldn't watch that new series with me today..." Yuta pouted.
The younger let out a small laugh, "I had class. I pay for those, so I'd prefer not to skip for something we can watch tonight." He looked up from Yuta and saw that the rest of them were staring back at him, fond looks on all of their faces. "What?"
They all quickly looked away. "Yuta, can you want to take me on a date?" Ten asked softly.
"No."
Sicheng turned to his friend with a confused expression, "Why do you want to go on a date with my boyfriend?"
"Me and Jungwoo are going to hang out tomorrow." Johnny said from under them.
"Tennie, I'll take you on a date, but Yuta's mine." Sicheng replied quietly before sending his boyfriend another smile.
