Sakura Maichirinu Len's In Labor!

The date was March 22nd, 2021. Mizuki Kobayashi (Miko) and her new friend Chiri Yamada (Sakura Maichirinu) were at home together after Mizuki had a long day at college.

Miko: Did you know my sister Hinata and her new boyfriend had a baby recently?

Sakura Maichirinu: No, I didn't. Is it a boy or a girl?

Miko: A boy. Getsu named him Daisuke, after one of his brothers.

Sakura Maichirinu: I hope my baby is a girl.

Miko: Why?

Sakura Maichirinu: I don't know.

Suddenly, Chiri screamed as he felt the baby kick really hard.

Miko: Oh no. You're going into labor right now!

Sakura Maichirinu: It hurts!

Miko: Don't worry. I'll get you to the hospital in no time.

Mizuki helped Chiri get up and outside to where her car was.

Miko: Just take deep breaths, Chiri. You're going to be fine.

Chiri took deep breaths all the way to the hospital.

About an hour later, Mizuki was still waiting in the waiting room. Suddenly, she heard Veronica come in.

Spacy Nurse: Mizuki?

Miko: Please tell me Chiri is alright!

Spacy Nurse: Quiet, Mizuki! You're in a hospital.

Miko: My apologies.

Spacy Nurse: Chiri is going to be fine. He's just really tired now. As for the baby...would you like to meet your daughter?

Miko: I have a daughter?

Spacy Nurse: You sure do. Follow me.

Mizuki followed Veronica to the delivery room. Mizuki opened the door. There on the bed was an exhausted Chiri holding his baby girl that was wrapped in a pink blanket.

Miko: All that pushing took a lot out of you, didn't it?

Chiri just nodded.

Sakura Maichirinu: It's a girl, Mizuki.

Miko: I know. I heard.

Spacy Nurse: What is going to be the name of your beautiful baby?

Sakura Maichirinu: I would like to name her Aiko. After my mother.

Miko: Aiko. That's pretty. Can I hold her?

Sakura Maichirinu: Okay.

He carefully handed baby Aiko to Mizuki.

Miko: Welcome to Negi Root, Aiko Yamada.
