Iwaizumi shifted the car into park as he looked over at the sad brunette in his passenger side, reaching over to him he paused before pulling his hand back. "Oikawa, I'm sorry, I lied to you. Ushijima wouldn't do that to you, I'm sorry I did all that to you, fuck Kawa I don't know what happened with me. But, I brought you home so if you don't want my company then I'll let you go, if you ever need me you can call-"

"I hate you Hajime."
Iwaizumi's gaze locked onto his hands as he heard the door on Oikawa's side open. "Iwaizumi, stay away from me okay? If I do want us to be friends again then I'll probably call you or something but you really need to stay away from me."

Iwaizumi nodded as he looked over, he could see Oikawa fighting against his tears as the door closed and the brunette begun walking towards his house. A few moments had passed since Oikawa disappeared into the comfort of his home before Iwaizumi decided to leave, pulling off to the side of the road he pulled out his phone.

"Hey?"

"You lying bastard, where the hell is Ushijima's boy-"

"I took Oikawa to his house, he wasn't... feeling well. Um hey I'm going out of town for a little bit so don't worry too much if I'm gone."
Iwaizumi pressed 'End' before Sakusa could answer.

Ushijima opened the door to Oikawa's place, he stopped when he saw the brunette sitting against the wall, his knees pulled up to his chest as a dull look lingered in his eyes. "Kawa." He noticed his lover flinch from hearing his voice, moving closer Oikawa raised his head, the brunette's puffy red eyes made it clear he was just crying.

"Tooru, can I hug you?"
"Mhm."

As Ushijima moved closer Oikawa opened his arms and let his knees fall from his chest, Ushijima quickly pulled him into his arms. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you, I'll fucking hurt him if he di-"
"No, I'm okay, I pushed him away though. Haha Ushi I pushed away my childhood best friend, do you know how much that hurts?"

Oikawa tightened his grip on Ushijima's shirt as he buried his head into the crook of the man's neck, Ushijima let himself calm as he pet Oikawa's hair hoping to get his lover to calm down as well. "Hey, you know I love you right? I'll protect you from anything that hurts you, even if it hurts me in the process." 

The two sat there for a long moment before Oikawa's head rose and his brown eyes locked with olive colored ones, it was silent, no more words left either of them and the sadness that once laid in Oikawa's puffy eyes was replaced with an endearing expression.

Three words ran through his head as he pressed his forehead against Ushijima's, words he didn't know how to say, he closed his eyes as his lover's hand placed itself on his cheek. "What is it? You can tell me."

"I.. I don't know.."

With a quick peck on the lips from Ushijima a smile tugged at Oikawa's lips causing a sense of joy to spread through Ushijima as he begun to press kisses all over the brunettes face, soft laughs left from Oikawa as his hands traveled up Ushijima's shoulders before his arms wrapped around his neck.

"What's with all the affection hm?"
"I like to see you smile."

A look of awe sparked in Oikawa's eyes as Ushijima spoke those words, leaning in he pressed a long kiss against Ushijima's lips before pulling away.

"I love you."
"I love you more Tooru."

Hello!! Your favorite Author here! Jk, I wouldn't say I'm your favorite. Sorry this was short but honestly I didn't plan for this book to get this popular even though I'm still keeping it as a short story (I'm so sorry) BUT If you want to read more of my books just go to my account! This book is going to be a viking AU because I have done some sketches of the haikyuu characters as vikings, I drew them during Yuletide because I got bored whilst the adults were having fun so-
