The next morning, everyone met in the Great Hall. The teens sat together at the long tables. I sat next to Ashton and Astrid. Her and Ruffnut sat across from each other,  apologizing for whatever happened yesterday. Whatever occurred, it sounded like they were really going at each other. Ashton ate some crambled eggs and buttered bread. It smelled good. No doubt the bread was freshly made. My empty stomach growled angrily, no doubt wanting to taste some fresh food. Surely beets the broth from the day before.

"How was your first night here?" The blonde, Tuffnut, asked.

"Best sleep I had in a long time," I answered.

"Hey, Ashton, where did you sleep?" The large man across from Tuffnut asked.

"Um..." he hesitated.

"Did some nice old lady open her door for you?" Ruffnut asked.

"No. I slept in the dragon stalls..."

"What! You could have stayed with Astrid and your sister. Why didn't you?" Snotlout exclaimed.

Ashton glanced down at his plate. I failed to notice the straw in his curly hair before. Also, he reeked of dung. Before, I would have believed he would've forgotten to take a bath. But I know my brother. He can be a clean freak. Another thing he taken from our mother. Mother... I miss her. I miss her and father. I wonder if they would be mad for being away for so long. They warned us not to go on the south side of the island. That's where the main sea trade route is. Why didn't that cross my mind that day?

I stared at my plate, thinking back on all the great memories I've had with my parents. Man, I miss them. I swear, when I see them again... if I see them again... I will explain everything. Maybe they will forgive me. Hel, nothing will ever be the same again. They won't ever look at us the same again. Why do I have to be so dumb? Stupid. Stupid. Stupid!

Hiccup and Toothless walked inside. Heavy bags laid under Hiccup's eyes. Was he up all night? Something must have been on his mind. Or was he busy with whatever Hiccup does at night?

"Good morning, Hiccup," Astrid said, kissing Hiccup on the cheek. Ashton's shoulder slump didn't miss my eye. No doubt he was having some feelings for the sleeveless blonde. I touched my heartbroken brother's shoulder gently. I know how he felt. My life long crush broke me when I saw him with Coral McHunkery. More of Coral McSlut. Just thinking of her name makes my skin crawl.

"It is a good morning. All the dragons are accounted for and the sun is shining. It's a good morning indeed," Hiccup said with his hand on his hips.

Way to be optimistic, my brunette friend.

Astrid chuckled and poked Hiccup's nose. "You're a dork."

"I know," Hiccup said slyly.

His every action screamed 'I'M A MOTHER KRONKING HOPELESS ROMANTIC!' I felt single. I need a boyfriend asap. My eyes drifted to Ruffnut and Tuffnut. Am I gay? No. I'm not. Maybe? Kinda. Sorta. Do I like both sexes? Oh, my dad's gonna kill me if I date someone of the same gender.... if I ever see father again.

Tuffnut launched a snot ball at a chubby woman across the Great Hall. It hit her bare neck. Instantly, she shot up.

"WHO DID THAT!?" She screamed.

The twins laughed and slapped their knees. The woman turned around, her face beat red.

"YOU'RE GONNA WISH YOU HADN'T DONE THAT!"

Tuffnut wiped the tears from his eye, "Oh, man. That's great."

The woman stomped over to our table. I looked back to the twins, but neither were there. Man, they're fast. I wonder if there was swiftness magic in the bread. If so, Thor knows what some of those adults would use swiftness for. Oh, please whoever hears my throats, please renew my filthy mind!
