A long time ago, three groups, Carnivore, Herbivore, and Omnivore, were once friend. Carnivore had a strong liking for meat. This lead to mishap and war. The War of the Three Paws, but you will find out much more later.
Six animals: 2 minks, a wolf, a cat, a bear, and an opossum, all journey to The Land of Torloria. A rain forest full of magic. Not fairy magic, or dragon magic....it is filled with miracles. This is where the story begins...
Prologue:
King Kekay threw his tray of slimy grubs on the floor which splattered in front of his throne. The poor, little mole maid had prepared, and dug it up for him, that had taken up hours of precious time.
"Enough!"
"May I help you, sir?" she said in her meek little voice as she scurried into his den.
"Go tell the hyenas to fetch me a fresh zebra!"
She turned to leave to face the entrance of the den, and carried her paws as fast as she would dare to another cave. Her feet made a pitter patter as she went.
The mouth of the cave was towering as if it were swallowing her up whole as she entered. She soon could see four hyenas, all full of spots, chilling on boulders located all around the den.
"Is there something you would like to tell us, Chivina?" barked the leader of the hyenas.
"Kekay has requested one of those confusion-using, striped zebras! Fresh out of a garden, too!" Her pants became slower as she plopped herself on a small stone. All four hyenas stood up in alert.
"Has he lost his mind?!" screamed one.
"There hasn't been none of that nonsense in years!" yelled another. Chivina's breath returned to its normal rate.
"I don't know. He's hungrier than a horse surviving on wood!" She pressed her paw to her forehead.
"He's king, you more than likely have to catch one. I'm definitely surprised he didn't wolf me down!" The leader shook his mighty head.
"You don't have to worry Chivina. You make too small of a meal. Thank you for the word."
He signaled the others to leave quickly and they bounded off in the wild. Chivina stayed not long more, but when she did, her eyes were watering with fear...
