Bob's life was mundane and depressing. His children were destroying his restaurant and his wife was singing. He desperately wanted to leave and get a new life for himself, maybe one on the sea with a successful burger restaurant and peace and quiet. Little did he know, just across the street, his business rival Jimmy Pesto was thinking the same thing.
Unlike Bob however, Jimmy was divorced and his children weren't a high priority for him. If he wanted them gone he could just send them to their mom and he'd be child free, Bob did not have such luxury. Bob and Jimmy had a history together, they fought at every opportunity they got and hated each others guts, or so it seemed. Bob was obsessed with him, with his daily routine, everything he did, the way he dressed, and even the way he parted his hair in the morning. Jimmy was the polar opposite of Bob, he was successful, handsome and rich, and Bob was jealous. Bob decided to go over to Jimmy's place and beat him up idk. He had to get the anger of his feelings for Jimmy out by hurting him. He didn't want to love Jimmy and he had no reason to, in fact, everything in his life was telling him NOT to, but he couldn't help himself.
"Hey Jimmy" Bob said "What are you doing"
Jimmy quickly turned around and was surprised for a second, which Bob thought was cute. He was serving a costumer their food and having a pleasant conversation, this wasn't really a need for Bob to pick a fight, but his angry masculine emotions were out of control, only way he knew to express it was fighting.
"Hey Bob, what do you want? I was just serving this costumer here, no need to fight" said Jimmy
Bob blushed, he knew he was in the wrong in this scenario and there was no reason to start a fight, but not like Jimmy hadn't done that to him. Bob thought about that idea, how Jimmy would bother him for no reason too. Did he have feelings too? His thoughts were interrupted by Jimmy 's questioning.
"Hey Bob, what do you want?" he said with a more serious tone this time. Bob had a mini panic attack, he was never good when put on the spot like that, especially in this made up fight scenario he was trying to create.
"I'm here to fight you Jimmy, but a real fight." Bob said.
Jimmy was confused, he never expected to really fight like this he only thought that their relationship was a petty business feud. Jimmy wasn't about to back down from this though, he didn't want to seem weak, especially in front of Bob, his secret crush.
"Alright Bob, lets fight. Let me finish up with this costumer and we'll fight, in that alley over there."
Bob nodded and they both walked off to the alley. Bob hoped a crowd wouldn't form, he was hoping he could confess his feelings to Jimmy but he was afraid of rejection.
"Ok Bob what is this really about" Jimmy said
Bob was shocked. Jimmy saw right through him, probably because he knew Bob wouldn't actually fight. Bob looked around, avoiding eye contact with Jimmy, afraid of what he would say. Bob tried speaking, but nothing came out, making Jimmy suspicious.
"Jimmy I-I love you" Bob said cutely
Bob closed his eyes hoping to avoid seeing his reaction. He knew if he was rejected, Jimmy would make fun of him forever. Bob didn't see, but Jimmy was smiled and then kissed Bob
Bob was shocked and surprised, but then was full of joy from the replicated feelings.
"I love you too Bob, but I don't know if this can work, you're a married man."
Bob had tears streaming down his face, knowing he Jimmy was right and they could never be together.
"I promise I can make this work Jimmy" Bob said "I can divorce Linda, I'll do anything to be with you"
Jimmy wiped his tears away and hugged him. Bob wrapped his arms around Jimmy and then they heard a voice
"Bob what are you doing!"
It was Linda.
Bob and Jimmy looked in surprise and shock to see Bob's wife catching them. Bob tried to explain but nothing could work to change her mind on what happened. Linda was furious that her husband cheated on her. Rain fell from the sky as Bob and Jimmy stared at each other with a look of understanding as they ran. Bob kept thinking of his dream, a successful burger restaurant on the sea, with his new love, Jimmy Pesto. Bob thought about his name, Bob Belcher could be Bob Pesto. Then he heard a gun shot.
Linda had a gun and was shooting at them, the first bullet missed but still shocked them to where they fell on the ground. The rain fell as they stared at each other knowing their fate.
"Bob all I want is to be with you in my final moments, this is how I want to die" said Jimmy
Bob was crying as he crawled over to Jimmy as they hugged each other. He died how he lived, pathetic.
"This is the end of the line Bob, you too Jimmy" said Linda
Jimmy and Bob kissed and said sad goodbyes to each other as Linda raised the gun, fatally shooting Jimmy. Bob screamed in anguish, seeing his true love die in front of him. As Linda pointed the gun at him he stared at her with hated and sadness. Linda's face was cold and unforgiving as she pulled the trigger, ending Bobs life.
