I woke up with a small gasp. I can barely remember anything. As I get up I relize there a collar around my neck with a chain connected to the floor and I looked at it confused "wha-" I say quietly and pull the slightly. It made a loud noise so I stopped. I heard a door opening and I looked over. I saw cody walking down the stairs. He was humming a song. One of my favorite songs. I looked at him and he smiled "your awake sleepyhead" he came over and kissed my head. I looked at him and said "w-why am I down here" i asked softly and he chuckled "well you see. I'm protecting you. You don't see how dangerous the world is. It'll chew you up and spit you back out. I'm keeping that from happing" he said as he walked around the basement. He made sure everything was clean. There was a bed with the stuffies he had gotten me along with my art stuff at a desk. I look around for a phone or something but there was nothing. He smiled "see baby. I've got you everything you need. You much be hungry" he put some food on the desk. I go over and look at it. Ramen. Simple yet good. It was one of my favorite foods. I looked at him and he said "I'll leave you to eat" he walks out and I start to try and get this chain off but I failed miserably. I whined while looking around. I sigh and eat my ramen slowly. He came back an hour later and smiled "good you ate" he took the bowl and went upstairs. I whined and looked around and looked at the door and ran but I hit the end choked and. I wimpered as I sat there he came back and pet me softly and I purred and he chuckled and picked me up unhooking the chain and taking it with us. He went upstairs putting me in the bathroom and hooked the chain up again and ran a bath. He came over and took my clothes off and sat me in. He kept the collar on. I looked at him and smiled I looked back at the water and heard him say "I have to wash the smell of those other people off you" I wimpered and he said "what? Do you like the senet?" I shook my head and he nodded "good" he washed my hair softly. I purred softly and he chuckled softly. I looked at him and he kissed my nose "why am I here" I asked him and he looked at me "because. I need protect you from the world that bend you over backwards till you brake" and I look down with a whine "s-so... The world is bad?" I asked and he gave a me a "yes." In response. By that time I had stop talking
I felt it was better. He finished my bath putting me in boxers an done of his hoddies. I was cold and started to shake so he put me in the bed that was in the room and went to get more blankets. I scrambled to the window but he was back to soon and hugged me "baby boy? I thought you said you were cold? Come on lay back in bed" he led me to the bed and put under the covers and gave me another blanket and one of my stuffies. I hugged the stuffie and looked at him. He smiled as he looked at me. Then looked at the window. He hummed going over to it. Before before he did anything he knocked me out again. When I woke up everything seemed normal. It was night time now. I went to the window slowly and looked for the lock. The window was flipped around. I couldn't get to the lock. Which also has cement over it. I stared but quickly went back to bed and laid down as I heard the door opening. Cody came down with a happy smile. He went over and kissed my face and hugged me close. I put on a smile on and we snuggled for a couple hours I heard him get up and walk outside. I looked out the window and saw a pair of feet walking tot he window. They didn't look like cody's shoes. That wasn't cody. Then a second pair of feet followed behind. But before the first pair could turn he let out a pained groan and dropped to the ground. His skin started turn a deep red. His eyes bulged. The sight made me step back. I saw a bat with nails in his come down the person's skull splattering blood on the window. I gasped and backed up. I said "wh-wha-... What was that" he myself. I went and sat down thinking of what he just saw. After about 30 minutes i heard the basement door open making me act like I was sleeping. I laid there as he came over and sat down petting my head as I laid there. I was shaking under the blanket as he stroked my cheek. He said I was beautiful before leaving again and taking care of everything outside. I finally just fell asleep from the stress. The next day I woke up and looked around. He was sat next to me. He looked at me "oh hello sleepyhead. Your up late" I whined tiredly "what time is it" he laughed "it's like 12 in the after noon baby" he says and I nodded and he pet me. He got up and went upstairs. I shot to where the chain was and started pulling and hitting it. I didn't care how much noise I made. He must of heard before he came in making me freeze and looks at him. He walked over to me and gently grabbed my hand taking me away from where I was and sitting me in a chair. He gave me the food letting me eat. He was scaringly calm
