I'm thirty seven weeks pregnant now, and i'm getting ready to go in to get induced. My doctor once again doesn't want me to go till the end of my pregnancy because of my IUGR, the risks of having a stillborn would still be too high if i went to the full fourty weeks.

I'm nervous as hell, i mean yeah, it's not my first child but i'm still gonna be having another baby. That is nerve wracking and a little scary. Everyone is going to meet us at the hospital, we rented a special room so that everyone could be in there with us during labor.

We get to the hospital and they get us into my room and get me hooked up to the fetal monitor and IV and then my doctor comes in and starts the induction. "You ready to meet this baby?" She asked with a smile.

"Yes!" I exclaimed with a huge smile of my own.

"Alright, we're gonna start by doing a stripping of the membranes. Which basically means that i'm going to insert a finger into your cervix and gently separate the sac from your uterus. It will send off a chemical and should start your contractions. If it doesn't work or it takes too long, we will give you a shot of Oxytocin in your IV." She explained everything she was doing so that i wouldn't be nervous.

"Alright." Tadley came over and squeezed my hand while she went down to the stripping membranes. I hate having to get checked to see how far i'm dilated etc. It's not exactly painful but it's definitely uncomfortable. Once she was done she removed her glove and tossed it in the trash bin and smiled at me while squeezing my shoulder gently.

"Alright, Mrs. Matthews. I'll come in and check on you again in an hour or so, hit the call button if you need anything before then."

"I will, thank you." She left the room, and Tadley pulled a chair over and sat down while still holding my hand. The boys are with my parents, they will bring them when they come up.

"I can't believe we're about to meet her already. This pregnancy has flown by so quickly." I said shaking my head. Okay, it felt like it dragged on and on, but now that i'm laying here getting ready to have her it feels like it was no time at all.

"I know! At least the boys are excited, we could have those kids who absolutely hate their little siblings." He chuckled.

"Hahaha right! That would be horrible. I know Cade doesn't understand what's going on so he really doesn't care all that much, but Joey has been so involved this whole time, it's adorable. He wanted to go to all the scans and was so disappointed when he couldn't because of school, and he wanted to be involved with all of the shopping for baby stuff, and decorating the nursery. He's such an amazing little guy." I smiled at the thought of how good of a big brother Joey really is.

"He really is. We're so blessed. We have amazing kids." Tadley agreed.

After a few hours of not going into labor, Dr. Michaels came in and gave me a shot of Oxytocin. It took a little while but the contractions started up and they were strong as hell.

"Oh damn! I went from having no contractions to the contractions slamming in like 'SURPRISE MOTHERFUCKER!'" I exclaimed squeezing my eyes shut and rubbing my belly that was tightening with a strong contraction.

"Swear jar, mommy!" Joey exclaimed.

"Hahahaha i think we should give mommy a pass for today." Reese laughed ruffling Joey's hair.

"Yeah, she can't be feeling too good right now." Lacey agreed.

"I can't believe we're here for another little one! You have a six year old, a one year old, and now you're going to have a newborn. DAMN!" Ava shook her head.
