The sun shown through the window of my room, seemingly just to wake me up. Groaning, I rolled over getting the sun out of my eyes. It was a Friday morning in weird-weather Ohio. I rolled over again, time to check my phone. A huge smile went across my face as I read Si Joon's sweet messages.
Si Joon: I hope you have a good day Karumi~
They always made me smile. I replied and turned on my side, looking at the empty space next to me. SI Joon and I have known each other for over 3 years at this point, but we were still just friends. Only friends. I always had feelings for him..I fell in love with him very easily but just didn't want to tell him because I would just be hurt as usual..but still.. "I wish he was here..",I muttered rolling out of bed. I leave for Australia in 2 months to see him. And yes, he's Asian and lives in Australia. Replying to Si Joon, I started to get dressed. A band tee, suspender skirt and long socks. It was really rainy outside, which made me wish that there would be no lightning. Rain always sorta made me reflect on life and made me realize how alone I was. All through out high school I was surrounded by people. Though I was surrounded, I was actually alone. Even with the inner rage and morbid hatred I had in me, there was always this thin layer of happiness. A very thin one. I suddenly hated the window separating me and outside. Like it was the layer of happiness. Ignoring all those feelings I scurried off to work.
I worked in a veterinarians office as a secretary. Simple right? Usually nothing drastic happened. The saddest thing that's ever really happened is when animals come in to be put down. Murder is strangely accepted..
Later on while working on some things for insurance, my mind drifted off to Si Joon, as it usually did. He loved cooking and dancing a lot. I thought of his pretty dark eyes, his tan skin and his sexy thick eyebrows. I shook my head of the thoughts before I got too excited and creep out the patients.

Looking up to see who had rang the bell I nearly passed out from the gorgeousness of the man's face. He had sharp, dark eyes, thick eyebrows, pale skin, and long jet black hair rolling down his shoulders. I guess he noticed me staring, because the corner of his sexy lips curled up into a smirk. "Hello, I'm Ly Phuoc...I have and appointment scheduled for my dog". I glanced down to see a German husky with pretty blue eyes, panting, then I looked back up at Ly and looked grabbing a clipboard of paperwork."F-fill these out please.", I managed handing him the clipboard, continuing to look down. He smiled and grabbed the clip board in such a way where our fingers touched. I swear my face was red even with MY skin tone. He sauntered off to a chair and took a seat to fill the forms out, with me occasionally sneaking glances at him. He caught me a couple times and winked, making me shiver and close my legs tighter. This went on forever until he came up to the desk and handed me the clipboard then sat back down. I looked at the Husky curling up at his leg as he pet him. He seemed like he really loved his owner. I smiled and all the sudden thought of Si Joon. He was so sweet..like a real life flower boy like in the KDramas. He also had dirty side that always made me bite my lip. Thinking about all those things made me actually bite my lip. He was always crowding my thoughts.. "Mr. Phuoc, were ready for you",said Ms. DeDe, the nurse. Ly stood up and took the leash of the dog in his hand. Instead of going with the nurse he walked up to me at the receptionist desk and handed me a slip of paper. "Call me if you want to hang out",he said with a wink. I blushed and put my head down again, taking the number. Maybe I would call him?
The Next Day.
Since it was Saturday I basically wandered around my apartment and watched kdramas. As the day went I got bored and it was 10 am so Si Joon was asleep. I went to do laundry instead. I picked up all the dirty clothes on the floor and threw them into a hamper. As I picked up my green hoodie, the slip of paper Ly gave me fell out. I stared down at it and picked it up hesitantly, biting my lip. "ahh..what the hell. I ain't got anything to do anyways.",I muttered to myself, pulling out my phone to call Ly. I typed in the number and waited. After three rings he picked up and his seductive voice filled my ears. "Hello there" "H-hi...its Karumi... the-" "I know who you are dear",he said. I stopped cold and bit my lip again. "okay..so why did y-you um want me to call?" I attempted trying to seem cool. "Have dinner with me tonight" he said plainly. The sudden request caught me of guard and I went silent for a second. "Helllo" "Y-YEAH! Uh yeah, sure what time?" I stumbled. "8?" "Sure". I gave himmy address and hung up. I couldn't help but feel guilty though. Like I was somehow betraying Si Joon.. "He doesn't seem interested in me anyways..",I whisper going to take a shower.

After getting out the shower and changing clothes, I picked up my phone from my bed and called Si Joon. "Yooo" "Hey Si Joon", I smiled widely like I usually did when I talked to him.
7:50pm.
"Hmmmmm wear the red one!",said my friend, Jasmina. Jasmina, Lynn and I were all close friends, whether its was either one of us dealing with something or turning into total saesengs over kpop idols. "Haha but I really love the blue one!" I say holding up a bluse dress. "Shhhhh! Red = Sexy, be sexay fo yo man", said Jamina doing a funny body roll. I flicked her forehead and took the red dress from her. I slipped it on and did a pose. "What you think?" "You shall make him Oppa tonight!", she yelled with a rape face. I blushed and went to the bathroom to fix my face with Jasmina following behind. By the time my face was done it was 8pm and I heard a knock at the door and I walked into the room and felt their stares. "You look beautiful",said Ly giving me a once over. I smiled and punched his arm playfully "Not even" we smiled at each other and he took my hand. This would be a long night...
