Chapter 3
"omg is she like, in a coma?"
"what if she doesn't wake up?? Did she die??"
"OMIGAWD you guys, WHAT IF SHE'S DEAD!!"
I opened my eyes and saw three people. My mom, Brooke, and Taylor.
"I'm awake you guys, not dead. Don't worry!" I reassured them
"OMG Tina I was so worried!! I made it to the exit and looked back to see where you were and then I saw this group of girls crowding around something so I ran over and swatted a few out of the way and there you were! You passed out! Omg I was gonna call 911 I was so scared you wouldn't wake up! Omg I'm gonna kill that kid!!!"
Brooke was going off into a total rant so I shook her to shut her up
"BROOKE! I'm fine, no harm, I'm just a bit claustrophobic! No need to overreact!"
Brooke tended to be a bit overdramatic...
"ugh I'm sorry it's just I've never been around anyone who's... Ya know... Fainted before so I wasn't sure what to do... Sorry."
I looked around at my mother and boyfriend's faces and they both looked relatively calm. Amused even, probably at Brooke's ranting.
"well I'm glad you're okay sweetie." my mom piped up
"I have to get back to work now, just wanted to make sure you were okay"
"thanks, mom. Yeah I'm fine, it's not like it hasn't happened before..."
I was referring to the time I was playing hide and seek with one of my cousins and I hid in the cupboard. He decided to play a mean trick on me and lock the cupboard door, so of course I panicked and fainted. Let's just say his mother was NOT happy with him.
"okay mom, I guess I'll see you later - maybe"
I didn't see much of my mother - or my father for that matter. They were both total workaholics and when they were home, they were always preoccupied. Always on their phone, or laptop, or iPad. They never really talked to each other, and they rarely talked to me.
Just then I heard a knock at the door
I got up (with Brooke screaming after me: "ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE OKAY TO WALK!!?")
And opened the door
Standing there, on my doorstep, was the one and only Justin Bieber.
"um, hey..."
**Lemme know what ya think! By the way I know that Justin Bieber probably isn't ACTUALLY vacationing in New York, but just go along with it, okay? Lol.
