******* Kenslea & Tadley *******

Our babies are all grown up and doing their own thing now, which is heartbreaking because i never know what to do with myself anymore. They are all still close to home, so we can see them whenever we want but it's not the same. I don't like having an empty nest, i want my babies home.

"Babe, relax, the kids are coming over for a visit today." Tadley assured me, it's like he can read my mind or something.

"I don't like this one bit, Tadley. I don't like having an empty house." I pouted.

"I know, but they are growing up, they want to experience everything on their own." He responded. "Just because they aren't home anymore doesn't mean they don't need us. They are still momma's babies." He comforted.

"I know...but it doesn't mean i have to like it!" I sighed. "Would it be kidnapping if i lock my own children up so they can't escape my love?"

"Hahaha yes!" We were cut off by the front door opening, and i abandoned the food i was cooking to run and hug my babies.

"Hey, mommy! Missed you too." Joey still calls me mommy even though he's grown and it completely melts my heart to this day.

"It smells good in here!" Cade exclaimed. "I might have to move back home just for the food!"

"Oh, well that's really comforting, son!" I pouted playfully.

"I mean, also because i miss my mom too." He pulled me into a bear hug and picked me up off of the ground making me laugh.

"Daddy! Mom! I missed you guys so much." Annie exclaimed running over to give us a huge hug. I felt my eyes water with how emotional i feel. My babies have grown up on me, and they have all turned out to be such amazing kids.

"Hey, Princess. Missed you too. But we literally saw you last week." Tadley laughed as he hugged her.

"Shut up, Tadley. It was too long!" I pulled all three of my kids into another hug and then went back into the kitchen to finish our usual family dinner.

"How's she doing?" Joey asked Tadley.

"Emotional as all hell. She's not liking you guys not being home. She doesn't know what to do with herself. You kids have always been her main priority and now that you left the nest she doesn't know what to do." He explained.

"Awww! I'll need to get her out of the house more. We can go shopping, have lunch, spa days, whatever she wants a couple times a week." Annie insisted. "I don't want her to think we abandoned her just because we grew up and left the house."

"I hate this. I'm moving back home! I don't want my mom to be sad." Cade pouted.

"Oh yeah right, there's no way you're moving back home. Then you'd risk mom seeing her little baby is a man whore."Joey smirked.

"Haha true..." Cade agreed.

"Dinner is ready!" I called out from the kitchen. Everyone piled into the dining room and i brought out the food. We all sat down and started serving the food, then jumping into conversation.

"Alright, what's going on in all of your guys' lives? We've not talked about it in a while." I started.

"I'm thinking about asking Amanda to marry me. I haven't decided anything yet, but i'm really thinking about it. She's the one." Joey was the first to speak up.
