Summer
"Come on, strip" one of the guys that came to Sapphire often shouted at me throwing a couple of ones.
Once the DJ started to play my favorite song I started sway my hips to the music in slow motion. Guys started to cheer me on while I danced I automatically started to feel uncomfortable.
Ignoring the way I felt I just kept dancing like no one was around, men were going nuts and I just kept dancing. One of the guys that always comes into Sapphire began to throw multiple dollar bills on stage.
Once I was done, I grabbed all the money that was on the floor and went back stage. Taking my mask off and changing I heard some of the strippers that worked at Sapphire start to whisper stuff about me and laugh. I waved it off and continued to get dressed.
I personally hated this job, I only worked here because it made me quite alot of money just so I could take care of my neice Amiere and myself.
Grabbing my bags out of my locker, I quickly hurried to my car and made my way to my mother Danielle's house.
Quickly getting out off the car I hurried to my mother's front steps, without even knocking I was greeted with my mother standing at the door.
"Hi mom" I smiled and gave her a kiss on her cheek.
"Hey baby" she smiled "Come in, come in"
"Where's Amiere?" I asked throwing my bag down onto the couch
"She's upstairs sleeping"
"How was school?" Mom asked while we were walking up the stairs.
"It was good" I lied
I walked into the guest room where Amiere was sleeping peacefully, she looked like a perfect little angel, like she is. I smiled to myslef looking at her sleep. She was my 5 year old neice, my sister couldn't take care of her because she was on drugs, a couple years after she passed from a drug overdose, it broke our hearts in so many ways, but we eventually moved forward. She asked me and mom to take care of Amiere for her just so she's in good hands.
I tapped Amiere on her side gently "Come on baby" I quickly picked her up and put her over my shoulder.
"Hi Auntie" she smiled, laying her head down onto my shoulder.
"Ok, I'll see you tommorow at 8?" Mom asked while I put her coat on.
"Yea" I smiled zipping up her coat.
"Okay, just call me if you need anything" she smiled "Bye Amiere baby"
"Bye grandma"

Glancing at the clock on my nightstand it read "7:09" AM. I had to wake up to get Amiere reqdy for school. I got up and yawned, putting on my slippers.
I walked into Amiere's room and tapped her "It's time to go to school Amiere" I said lifting her up.
She yawned peacefully and got up.
I quickly picked out her outfit and started to run her a bath since she didn't take one last night.
"Auntie?"
"Yes, baby" I walked over to her.
"Do I have a mommy?" She asked
I began to tear up alittle bit thinking of what happened to my sister Miya, but I eventually started to smile so she wouldn't see me cry.
"Yes" I paused "You have a mommy"
"So where is she" she asked
"She's, she's.." I trailed off "How bout we talk about this another time, we have to get you to school"
