Christmas with Bob was always magical. You'd been together 3 years now and each one was greater than the last. On this particular Christmas it had snowed quite heavily, so you and Bob took the opportunity to go out in it.

One trek up a hill later, you'd found the perfect spot to go sledding from.

"You go first and I'll push you." Bob offered, placing your sleds down beside each other on the snow as he moved to stand behind you. He put his hands on your shoulders gently and before you knew it you were speeding down the hill, swerving and dodging trees and various other lumps and bumps that were threatening to throw you off.

The second time round you both went together, digging the heels of your boots into the snow and pushing off with your feet. It was a race to see who could reach the bottom first, the winner got to eat the first slice of the Christmas cake Bob's mum had made. Either way, you were going to get it whether you won or not simply due to his generosity.

As the day went on and you grew more tired, you opted for making snow angels instead, getting a bit carried away and nearly filling the whole field with them. Had the sun not come out to start melting the snow earlier than anticipated, you would've made (or at least tried to make) a snowman too.

Luckily for you, there was snow forecasted the whole week, and the cake was a hit. Not just with you, but the rest of the lads came round to try some as well and there were positive reviews all round.

"Who was it that made this?" Van asked with a mouthful of food.

"Bob's mum," You smiled. "We'll have to make her something in return won't we."

"Oh for sure. We can even do that tomorrow if you like." Bob replied, coming to sit next to you on the sofa.

"Sounds like a plan."
