Chapter 7

Asuna POV:

Kanda and I were called to komui's office for a mission apparently. Kanda looked pissed off for some reason. Our mission was to investigate whether there is innocence in Berlin Germany. There has been strange plant growth, like a whole forest had grown in 2 days. Johnny then walked in and asked me what design that I would want for my exorcist uniform. I said that I would like a skirt and a fitted jacket with sleeves that go to my knuckles on my hands. He said that the uniform would be ready by later tonight. I left Komui's office and headed to my room to get ready for bed. Kanda and I would be leaving for our mission tomorrow morning at eight. I went into the bathroom and took a nice, long, warm bath. When I got out I put on a black tank top and gray sleep shorts. I climbed into bed and but I couldn't fall asleep. I got up and went down to the science department to see if my uniform was ready.

"Johnny!" I yelled for him.

"Oh, hi Asuna. I have your exorcist uniform ready for you to try on"

"You read my mind. I was just going to ask you about that" I said as I went to try on the outfit. "Johnny the uniform fits great. Thank you so much. Also, do you have anything down here that will help me go to sleep?" I asked. My uniform had a long sleeve jacket and a mini skirt. It was an all black skirt, unlike Lenalee's. My jacket had a white cross across the back and on the shoulders there were circles with crosses inside of them. I had knee high black boots.

"I'm glad that you like it and yes, we do have something that can help you go to sleep. Are you excited about your first mission or something?" he asked.

"I guess I am a little bit" I said.

"Next time you see Keiko can you tell her that her uniform is ready?" Johnny asked.

"Sure, no problem" I replied.

Johnny gave me something to help me go to sleep and I went to my room and went straight to sleep. I woke up the next morning at five-thirty and decided that I would get up. I brushed out my hair and then straightened it. I put on my uniform and went out to eat breakfast. It was really early in the morning so not a lot of people were up. I ordered my favorite breakfast ever, Pancakes and eggs! I ate all of my food and went back to my room to pack for my mission. I looked at the time and it was six-thirty. 'Wow, I still have an hour and a half to blow off' I thought. I went to Keiko's room because I heard that she had a mission with Allen today. They were leaving at about the same time as Kanda and I were. I knocked on her door and she opened the door.

"Good morning, nii-chan" Keiko said.

"Good morning, Keiko" I said back to her. "Johnny told me last night that your exorcist uniform was ready."

"Thanks for telling me. I have to get ready for Allen and my mission so I wil talk to you later ok?" Keiko told me.

"Ok. I will see you when you get back from you mission" I said.

I looked at the time and it was seven-fifteen. 'I should probably get going to the train station' I thought. I walked to the front doors of the Black Order and Kanda was waiting for me.

"Che, come on. We will be late for the train if we don't hurry up" Kanda said.

We made our way to the train station and when we got on the train we went to out reserved train cart. We were officially on our way to my first mission as an exorcist. 'Dad, are you proud of me' I thought. It was quiet on the train, but it was a peaceful silence. We got off the first train in Innsbruck, Austria. Kanda went to get us a hotel and I went to find a good place to find something to eat. The train ride had been eight hours long and it was getting dark out. I found a placed that sounded like a good place to eat. It was an Italian restaurant and when I found it I went to go find Kanda. He was waiting for me at the hotel and looked like he was getting mad.

"What took you so long to find something to eat" Kanda yelled at me.

"Umm... it's called I was finding somewhere that sounded appetizing" I said back to him.

"Che, whatever. Let's just go and eat" He said.

The waiter took us to our table and asked us what we wanted to drink. I said that I would have coke and Kanda went with tea. The waiter came back and took our order. I had a fettuccini alfredo and Kanda had a seafood pasta. Kanda was quiet the entire time and it was really awkward. I tried making a conversation many times but all he did was either give me a simple one word answer and end that topic or he would ignore me all together. We paid the bill and went to the hotel. I was actually surprised at how nice it was. We walked into our room and there were two queen sized beds. I took the one closest to the window. I was the first to take a bath and I had my strawberry scented shampoo and conditioner. While I was in the bath I went ahead and shaved as well. I got out and put on an orange tank top and white sleep shorts and got into bed. I thought about our mission and how it will go. 'This is going to be a long mission' I thought.
