Yang parted ways with Owl and Ueta as the sun went past it's peak. "I've gotta meet with my team so we can collect our mission payment and leave" she had said as they stopped at a street corner. "You guys think you'll be okay on your own?" she asked taking a look at Owl as he set the now waking Ueta on her feet, she was still a little groggy so she clung to Owl's leg for support. Owl smiled and said "I think we'll be okay, your explanations have been a great help." Owl reached into one of his pouches and pulled out a small whistle. "Here as a token of my appreciation" he said placing the whistle in her hand. She glanced at the small thing, no bigger then her middle finger it looked like a bit of wood hollowed and thinned with a curved hole at the end. "If you're ever in need of assistance use it with me in mind and I will aid you in whatever way you need" he said hiding a smile as she was no doubt wondering how it would do as such, but before she could ask any questions her scroll started ringing. She spoke into it for a few minutes before nodding and closing it again. "That's my cue, it was nice meeting you two" she said with a smile and a wave as she turned and walked down the street. Owl reached down and took Ueta's hand as they started going the opposite direction and into the city further.
I know this chapter is much much shorter then usual but that's because I'm following my layout for the story and just needed to hit this beat. Next one will be longer I promise. For those of you that follow this story I ask that you go and read the two stories I just published recently as a way to test my mettle a little bit. They are Demon's Souls and Bloodborne stories respectively and each will follow the plot of rwby a little closer so if you're interested do take a look. With that I bid all of you adieu.
Adios,
