Everyone has a soulmate, when your soulmate starts singing a song, it's wired into your brain to do the same. It's very uncontrollable and sometimes inconvenient. People who want to find their soulmate will do tons of things to try and find them. Some even go out of their way to write original songs and purposely sing them to see if someone else is too.

Along with having your soul mates name glow when you read it, a mark on your skin shows how many lives you've lived in the past. Keith Kogane is wrapped in a veil of mystery, something everyone at his college has noticed. But things change when Lance McClain forces him to take a look outside of his veil. Disregarding his new roommate as an annoyance, things remain normal. Until he starts coughing up flowers of course. ° Lance rolled his eyes. "You're such a bummer Keith. Learn to live, sheesh." The boy then proceeded to grab his coat, keys, and wallet. Keith's face perked up then, as if he'd just had a brilliant idea, and Lance could almost not wait to hear what new obscure thought had entered Keith's pretty head. He was prepared to laugh, and instead found himself shivering again as Keith leaned far into his personal bubble, lips practically touching Lance's ear when he spoke next.
