In the forgotten, tumultuous past, the lands were shifting and the Earth was filled with creatures long gone. In the aftermath of catastrophe, a sole survivor from his flock must try to put down roots elsewhere. He finds he cannot hide from the inhabitants of this unfamiliar area for long. When one such person finds him, an unlikely bond is created.
