Book Two of The Rat Chronicles This story explains the realm outside of what young Lloyd and Morro created; the reality of the dream world, bringing the reader deeper into the story with an older Morro and Lloyd, having gone their separate ways. Morro found himself in a kingdom; Lloyd in the middle of a poverty stricken town; later on locked away. As they are older; there's something besides hate between the two kindling.

Book One of The Rat Chronicles Lloyd and Morro, aged ten, meet each other on the way to a positive-thinking dance camp for disobedient children around Christmas; the purpose being to make them loosen up a little and try to have fun and see happiness instead of evil. This involves...A story. The two are still mischievous, arguing with each other with every moment they could find something to argue about. But as iron sharpens iron... ...Nothing. They did the opposite of sharpen each other...The two get into trouble the most out of all the other kids, pranking them and causing chaos. Lloyd creates a fantasy land for the two to live in to try to cope and feel better, running with their imaginations, him being a dark lord and Morro...A half rodent half human king-servant.
