Izuku Midoriya and Hitoshi Shinsou are two boys aiming to be heroes. At least, they used to. Izuku always wanted to be a hero. But being quirkless, he was looked down upon, bullied, abused, and broken. At the age of 10, he had enough, so, he ran away. When Hitoshi got his quirk, he thought it was great! Perfect for being a hero. Although, people thought otherwise. His parents neglected him for his villainous quirk. He was bullied for it. One night, he found someone who would change his life. Izuku's quirk was average and his mother was proud, it was a mix of the ash his father left after using his fire breath and his mother's levitation quirk, he could control shadows. What happens, ladies and gents, when you're parents become proud of you at a very young age? It sticks, like a leech.

Many of the students in Class 1-A kept secrets from each other. Take Kaminari, for example. He's still keeping his mouth shut about eating Sero last piece of pizza, and he reckons he's doing a pretty good job, thank you very much. But, there are some secrets that are just a little too big, too harmful, to keep under the wraps. A selected few of Class 1-A know something is up, but not sure what... Will the secrets slowly unravel themselves? Will they ever be brought out into the open? Who knows; you'll just have to find out, won't you? ... Izuku hated most villains, but then again, he loathed most Heros too. He had a few exemptions on both sides, but his admiration was hard to obtain nowadays. When he was a child, he would have given everything to be a hero, but those days were gone. Stolen from him. Heroes want to pretend a harsh line separates the good from the bad, but that line was much more fluid than they want to admit. Izuku knew he could never be a hero after what he had done, leaving him with one option. He chose to become the in-between. He would be both the good and the corrupt. Izuku was a child who grew up in a lab, surrounded by white. He wasn't the only one, sadly, but the other children decided that Izuku should escape and come back to rescue them. A certain underground hero who got involved in the investigation grew fond of the child and decided to be his foster parent for a little while.
