This is a collection of stories about the Greasers when Dally's sister, Tara, comes to live with him from New York. He treats her just like Darry treats Ponyboy in the book, but he really loves her, as much as he loves Johnny. (Not all stories are in order or related) (I should probably give credit to S.E. Hinton for all the characters except for Tara, and I would also like to give S.E. Hinton credit for inspiring me to become a writer.)

For the purposes of this story, Johnny is alive but was burned during the fire. This meant his new view on life gave him the confidence to stick up for himself towards his parents. Dally is also alive and his attitude towards life is the same of the beginning of the book. This story is set 2 years after the book.
