In a world where the sides arent as welcoming as they seem, Virgil is outcasted for originally forming with the now banished dark sides. While Virgil battles his depression, and Roman certainly isn't helping, they both have some weird dreams and memories from when they were kids, and were happy. Virgil is a depressed kid. With abusive parents, a suicidal sister, bullies, and one friend, Virgil struggles to survive. When an 'accident' happens, Virgil finds himself in a new place, with somewhat new people, and an unexpected job.

It's nearly half-term and Roman doesn't want to miss the opportunity to spend time with his crush. The only problem, they aren't exactly best friends. Meanwhile, Virgil's close friends, Logan and Patton, have a hard time realising their love for each other.
