Hiccup Haddock and Astrid Hofferson somehow end up as roommates, having no idea that one is the city's hero, the other the villain. The lies build up and so does the tension and they must decide whether or not to tell...or to kill.

- ORIGINAL VERSION - Hiccup Haddock was a child born on the village of Berk, then to be taken by a NightFury in a dragon raid without a trace. But while Stoick and Valka are trying to live while mourning for their lost son, Hiccup is living freely on a Santuarial island created by an Alpha dragon with his best friend, a dragon, the one who stole him, Toothless. Toothless has always told Hiccup that vikings are cruel, horrible people that kill dragons for the fun of it, and that he should stay as far away from them. But when Hiccup gets caught on a hostile, viking-dwelling island, he doesn't know what to do. The Chief's wife thinks it's unfair to torture a child like this, but when Stoick lays eyes on this boy, he has other plans. Will he and his dragon escape in time? Or will his parents soon find their lost son to be returned from the dead? [Original Version only means that there is a new edition, or rather; a Rewritten Copy, which is also in my works.]

After a raid that almost cost him his life, Hiccup tries to gain the village's trust and their forgiveness for unintentionally injuring three young children. With a reputation of being a nuisance to his village, Hiccup wished things were different. Neglected by his own tribe,and his own father, Hiccup begins to fall into depression. His life changes when he encounters a dragon in the woods- the legendary night fury. Determined, he tries to shoot it down and finally make his chief father and the village proud. When he couldn't give himself to kill a dragon, Hiccup learns dragons aren't as bad as they seem. AU. Hiccup never took the shot on that fateful night. Toothless was never shot down-and the war continued. Three years later, Berk is beset by dragon raids and hostile tribes while the boy who should have saved the island is merely the assistant in the forge. Replaced as Heir and with only the beautiful Shield Maiden Astrid as his friend, fate gives Hiccup one more chance to end the war and become the hero he was meant to be. Hiccstrid. Hiccup has been banished from Berk becouse of his bond with the dragons, and gotta come back in 5 years according to a stupid law. This story is going to be different. Instead of being saved by Toothless, both he and Hiccup are presumed dead. Those are the 'death' that change the Archipelago forever. Clans reunited, the vikings grow stronger and the dragons have become a part of their life. In the blink of an eye, seven years have passed and the Archipelago has grown used to the peaceful nature of their new life. But how would they react when a war between two unknown forces are knocking at their doorstep. A war that could end the Archipelago or turn the Archipelago into something more. Instead of killing the dragon in the arena, Hiccup decides to fly away from Berk on Toothless.He finds a small island,and lives there,bartering with the people who live on a nearby island. Five years later,Stoick finds his son again. Chaos, of course, ensues.

"Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the III, we are gathered here today because you had befriended a dragon and by Berkian law that clearly states that this is illegal and can be sentenced to death, imprisonment or banishment. Since we cannot control the dragon since it is a night fury one of the most lethal dragons, I as the chief of Berk hereby banish you to 5 years of banishment. You will not be given permission to speak. You will go back to the house. Pack your things. Collect your dragon and leave." Stoick said with a blank expression.

Five years ago Hiccup was declared dead after he went missing. However, one day Astrid and the Gang were on their entrance test (a test a test when all the 17 year olds have to survive a whole year on an island) they saw something on the beach and found out that it was an unconscious Night Fury lying next to a semi-conscious boy .
