Jeremy's Squip somehow got a bug after the Squipcident and now there are five voices in his head that he can't shut off, even with Mountain Dew Red. So he is constantly having to ignore them the best he can while surviving highschool and attempting to start and keep a romantic relationship with Christine, as well as making sure he doesn't hurt Michael again.
