Dear Diary, Sometimes, chasing dreams causes people to do some crazy things. The chase for knowledge can lead to another chase, then another, then another. Sometimes, you just have to know when to give up, or risk losing it all. The end result is sometimes worth it, that is, until you realize you're still missing puzzle pieces. No matter how fast you run, how clever you are, or how hard you believe in yourself, the finish line will always slip away. It leaves you crushed and beaten; forcing you to go home with your tail between your legs. At least, that's how most people feel. But, I am not most people. In a town called Asanagi, one of the biggest towns in a gijinka-only world, there lies Asanagi High School, created 50 years ago and now one of the most prestigious schools in the country. A young Eevee by the name of Keyori Zanpachi recently moved to Asanagi alone to study at this high school. On the first day, he meets the Espeon Espy Noriyama, the most beautiful freshman in the school, and is immediately starstruck by her appearance. Throughout his second day, he also meets Espy's Flareon sister Flare, as well as local school bully Machoke Nozote Tsubake who seemingly stalks Espy wherever she goes. Later on, they also meet the rather shy Jolteon Maya Runaze. Over the course of time, these five learn to accept each other's differences and form comraderies with one another as friends. Keyori even starts to have a slight crush on all three girls at the exact same time. However, these young freshmen know not what dark secrets the town of Asanagi has in store for them. These five students must band together as a team to defend the town against whatever evil comes their way while also trying to live a fairly normal school life. Can they succeed?
