School is mundane, school is just, well, school: Lindsey Ballato is a goddess, Pete Wentz is a MySpace whore, and Brendon Urie totally deserved getting kicked in the balls last summer, but then Mikey fucking Way turns up and before Frank knows it he's over at the Way household and swooning over an unfairly hot older brother who has totally just made out with an overly casual Lindsey Ballato. And that's not even to mention Gerard's past and sort of ex-boyfriend Bert McCracken who he kind of did, kind of didn't leave in the old town he and Mikey just moved from, but what is for sure is that Gerard Way can't help but stare at Mikey's sort of best friend, Frank, just a little too much. But Gerard is older and sort of world's away from Frank's league: he's like Lindsey Ballato - unobtainable and godly, and most definitely a member of the elite sex club that Frank reckons Lindsey's involved in. And this elite club of people who've seen Gerard Way naked? Let's say, Frank Iero wants in... to Gerard's pants. However Mikey thinks that it's less of a club and more of a support group.

However, when new student, Frank Iero, comes to town, Gerard's world is turned upside down. Frank promises to look after Gerard but it's a harder job than he had anticipated.

Mr Iero is probably the worst and most inexperienced English teacher on the planet, probably even the worst teacher, or even just the worst human being, but this is probably the worst school on the planet, and everyone knows teaching is just about making sixteen year olds laugh in order to better your ego, or at least that's what Frank keeps telling himself. Mr Way is going to get the art department enough funding to have this trip to Paris, even if he dies accomplishing it; other items on his agenda include defending his position as dominant homosexual, and pretentious artist motherfucker, and the new 'amazing' Mr Iero in room sixty eight B has no hopes of stopping him there, even if he is as cute as everyone says, and even if he is totally all for helping Mr Way getting that trip to Paris.

Sequel to Devil's Work so go read that first ;) Frank is struggling to keep afloat. He thought that when he turned Eighteen he'd be able to run off into the sunset, but as his birthday approaches he's beginning to realise that one more year changes nothing. He's still been disowned by any family he's ever know, he's still keeping secrets from his friends that are big enough to destroy their friendships, and he's still involved with his local priest. Add into the mix a gang of thugs, graffiti and an inappropriate collar fixation, and welcome to the life of one particularly screwed up teenager.

Frank Iero was given two options by his parents: go to juvie or move to England to live with his heavily-catholic relatives. He chose the second, seeing it as a challenge as to how long his aunt and uncle would be able to put up with his troublemaking ass. Maybe he would've chosen Juvie if he realised just what was waiting for him over the Atlantic ocean, in the form of a hot priest who seemed to be so far in the closet he could've been in Narnia. Frank had always loved to cause a shitstorm, but this was on a whole new level. And there's something physically wrong too - a figure that lurks in the smoke, fog, and shadows - a silhouette the deepest black he'd ever seen, the kind that brought an unsettling feeling to Frank's stomach, and really Frank's wasn't one to be overly twitchy about things like this, but from the moment he first met him, he could never shake the feeling that the figure was always following him.
