I have no intent of disrespecting anyone who suffers from it, and will not romanticize it in any way. The way PTSD is experienced differs per person. If you know anyone who suffers from it, learn how to help them in the way they feel comfortable with. This story has no intent of forcing a fictional ship onto real life.
