Soulmates: the interest of our generation. We live and breath for them, walk and talk about them. It's so exciting finding yours- that moment when the blacks, whites and greys burst into color and you can see them for the first time in a real light. Of course, that part doesn't come until you fall in love with your soulmate. That's the part Nico has trouble with. His one soulmate was the only person who he rivaled against. And Will? He was falling for his competition.

This is a Solangelo fanfic, but it doesn't seem like it! It can also be a stand-alone! Hello! I was reading something like this a while ago, and got this idea. But, there's a twist. Because, what's a great book without gut-wrenching feels? JK. Sorta. Anyway, I suck at descriptions. I'm sorry. But check out my other books too! There's another Solangelo. Labels. They're everywhere. Some labels are important. Like on medicine, food, and buildings. Those are the kinds we need to help function easily. But other labels... sometimes we just don't need them. We don't really need labels like biological, transgender, or genderqueer. Not for human beings, at least. All those labels do are bring people down. Society refuses to let a person be who they want. They refuse to see past the labels. I don't want anyone to look at my labels. Nico is deaf. He uses sign language, and can read lips. He scraped up enough money to go to college, but it's not the best college. There's homophobic Octavian and his gang...and the absolutely terrible teachers. Also, Nico doesn't have a roommate to stick up for him. He never minded though, because not having anyone was better than having another probably homophobe to deal with. - Will moved from America with his deaf sister and mom. His new college just happens to be Nico's....

When Nico gets hit in the face with a soccer ball on his first day of college, he has to go to the infirmary. There, he meets Will, who works there. (Sorry for the bad summary) This will be mainly Solangelo, and some Percabeth, Frazel, and whatever Piper and Jason's ship name is. I hope you like it!!!

When Will is told he has to go to high school, he doesn't have much of an opinion. Go there, protect some students, hang out with people he barely knew, be over with it. Fine, whatever. Though he finds himself having to be near a Nico Di Angelo an awful lot... Nico'd rather not be near anyone, period. People were annoying, after all, and he didn't trust them much. He was only here because he didn't feel like saying no. He's forced to be near a certain Will Solace, though, and said Will Solace may just change his mind on people. But, he soon warms up to this bunch and things improve. With a new set of friends and Will at his side, Nico feels unstoppable. Nico di Angelo is a forensic pathologist, well, training to be one. He spends his days examining dead bodies and learning how they died. Pretty cool, right? Will Solace is training to be a nurse. His goal is to prevent as many bodies from needing to be examined as possible. He wanted to save people. When these two move in together, many adventures follow, because honestly, what else can you expect when two complete opposites try to coexist? As time goes on they learn that maybe they aren't so different after all. Characters belong to Rick Riordan, but the plot and all that belong to me.
