He sang with his ethereal voice, belting out the words; the girl couldn't help but fall into a trance. She looked at the rear-view mirror only to be met with a pair of brown eyes staring right back at her. "We're on each other's team." he sang, not taking his eyes off hers while doing so. ✧✧✧ For almost the entirety of her life, Maia Davis has had to endure the constant moving from one house to another. That all changed when her father announced that they would all settle down in the quaint city of Georgetown, Texas. Nervous for a new chapter in her life, she finds herself in what seemed to be a life full of unnerving situations. She thought things would only get worse; that the future only held more torment to the girl. More and more things kept happening at such a fast pace. Maybe she shouldn't have done what she did on that summer night.
