[Male Reader x Marvel] Being a hero is a hard task, and not because of tough enemies, or the threat of death, but because it was about making a choice, a choice to take responsibility into one's own hands, and strike out for what they believed was right. In a world filled with far-out aliens and hellish demons, killer androids and super-powered maniacs, being a hero was even harder. From a young age, [Y/N] always had a keen understanding about what he believed was right and wrong, that people who hurt others for money and fame or out of sadistic enjoyment deserved punishment, that justice was necessary, and without it everything would fall apart. The death of his mother by the hands of some rogue gunman only solidified his resentment towards those he considered to be the scum of society. He had always wanted to be a hero, like Captain America or the Human Torch, from the comics he had always read, front to back. Men who held the power to change the world for the better, and weren't afraid to do what was right, despite what obstacles laid ahead of him. However, unlike his heroes, he held no superpower to help him on his path, no super-strength or speed, hardened skin or flaming skull, setting the rookie vigilante up for a bitter struggle. And yet, on a day that would have appeared just like any other, upon the seemingly unimportant bite from a strange, discoloured spider. On a less-than-interesting field trip, he would be granted the powers needed to fight for his convictions. the ability to now truly make those who hurt others pay for their actions. He made a promise as a child that he would make the world a better place, a world where people like his mother wouldn't have had to die, and he intended to follow through on that promise to the very end...

[Male Reader x My Hero Academia] The advent of Quirks changed society fundamentally. It was the birth of a child in Qing Qing City, China that nearly brought about the end of civilization as it was known. 'Meta Abilities.' Abilities that held the potential for great good, but inevitably great evil. Human nature quickly bore its ugly head, as it always did. Those with the power to act, and with the proclivity towards criminal activity, quickly viewed their new gifts as an opportunity to exploit the weak. Even while remaining the minority of the world's population, the onslaught of Villains came close to destroying society... Almost a century later and the world remains alive and breathing, and Humanity is thriving. Normal people with their own Quirks, those who refused to allow their friends and family to get taken advantage of, rose up against the tyranny of Villains. Vigilantes quickly became world-renowned Heroes and the tides were turned. Problems remained but peace had been achieved once more, and the world could rest well knowing that Pro-Heroes were around to keep them safe. And yet, this peace could never have lasted forever. The new generations know little of the horrors of the past, unaware that evil remains alive and well. Pro-Heroes are little more than pompous media personalities, with little interest in saving lives, but instead on fame and wealth. A great Villain lies in wait, counting down the days when he can finally seize retribution for what was done to him. However, this time he has a secret weapon. A weapon that could herald the end of all things... ! Cover by @equivocalwriter !

Officials say he doesn't exist. Just a shared ether induced hallucination. But the stories, how they continue to pile up. How could he not be real? Whatever you believe, the stories have become a deeply ingrained part of New Eridu. Everyone's heard at least one person claimed to be saved by him. "You're asking about the Saint? Ah, it's a nice tale. Makes the children feel just a little safer when it comes to the Hollows. I doubt it's true... but we could always use a little more hope." -Kind Old Lady off the Street "Urgh! I don't get what everyone's obsession is with that story! He's not Real! Just a tall tale to make kids sleep a little sounder! If you ask me, they should be focusing on putting that faith into Section 6. They're the real ones going out and saving us!" -Agitated HSO Operative "OMG! Your asking about the Saint? I have just the person for you to talk to. SEN! GET OVER HERE GIRL AND!!! -Excited Sorority Girl "We have absolutely no data or proof that there has ever been or is currently, a Masked Vigilante running into Hollows, Illegally. I must add. To save civilians. No PubSec Officer has every come across any evidence or trace of this so called "hero" having been at any Hollow disasters." -Statement from office of Janus Quarters Captain, Justin Bringer "The Saint? He's my Hero. If he's there, there'll never be a reason to be scared of Hollows!" -Young Girl hugging handmade Saint Doll While it's currently still unknown if the Saint is truly real or not. It is important to not the vastness of New Eridu holds a net public opinion of him. Even ranking high enough in popularity to come close to the Fame of HSO's Section 6.

Not a trainer, not even an occupation related to Uma Musume. Yet somehow, Muryou Kuraudo finds himself closely affiliated with multiple of them. Whether it be in the form of comforting them, cooking them food, treating their small injuries, helping them study or just keeping them company. Quickly, the girls get more and more attached to Muryou. Meanwhile, Muryou himself is completely oblivious to their feelings, he doesn't notice even the most obvious moves. He's too busy being sleepy, lazing around and coasting through life like a drifting cloud. Oguri Cap: "Muryou, the teacher gave me extra work because I wasn't paying attention in class again. Can you help me understand this? Also, can you cook me more food? I really liked the Beef Welt Yang." Muryou: "It's Beef Wellington." Symboli Rudolf: "Muryou, would you like to be the one to hand me the 'Dream Trophy Umamusume Of The Year' Award? If the URA won't accept you, then I'll just have to threaten them saying that I will leave the School and Racing altogether." Muryou: " ? ? ? " Maruzensky: "Muryou! Let's have a nice, smooth and relaxing ride at the beach road while admiring the sunset again! Ever since I met you, I've started to appreciate slow driving." Muryou: "I think you're just getting old." Watch as Muryou navigates through social challenges in this not-so-epic slice-of-life fanfic. In a world where faith in heroes have vanished, there still exists one hero that tries to fight against the one that destroyed that faith, that being Izuku Midoriya. But what if one day, fighting a trivial villain, he is sent to another world? This is a story where Vigilante Deku arrives in the world of Invincible. This is a crossover that isn't really done much and I wanted to give it a shot.
