Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!

10 minutes can be an eternity or a blink of an eye depending on where you're standing. For Sanem Aydin it was all the time it took to loose what she loved more than life itself, but she wouldn't look back. Those ten minutes showed her that her love was not reciprocated in kind and that it had all been an illusion crafted by an experienced seducer upon a naive and foolish girl. But that would be the last time that would ever happen to her. 10 minutes more and she's be flying over her homeland and away from her heartache. 10 minutes later she was falling asleep with a sob choking her to escape and tears burning behind her eyes. 10 minutes later and she was being carried to the bedroom at the back of the jet in the arms of the man she had crushed on so many years ago and who had swept in like a hero to save her. In 10 minutes she would be his if only he would ask. 10 minutes or less. 10 minutes was all it took to see him drunk. 10 minutes later Can Divit had a companion. 10 minutes more was all he needed to get the blond into his bed. 10 minutes was all it took to realize he had made a horrible mistake, but his ego and his pride wouldn't let him turn around and go back. When he finally came to his senses after swimming in his own guilt for weeks on end he all but ran to buy a ticket back home but he was 10 minutes too late. Flights were sold out. For the next 10 minutes he called her number but there was no response. The night would be endless but when he finally made it back he may as well have been a ghost. It was his fault he knew it and he was prepared to crawl back on hands and knees. He begged for 10 minutes of her time. Just 10 minutes to explain but she was gone and it would take what felt like a lifetime before he saw her again. 10 minutes to fall in love again. Will that be enough time to change the course of a love story once again. Sanem Aydin and Can Divit will discover if love lasts a lifetime or if 10 minutes was all they had left.

Book 3 (Completed) After her heartbreak Sanem moved away from Istanbul taking a big secret with her. She built a new life for herself....for once everything florished her career as a professional writer her perfume and cream bussiness. While all this was going on she became a mother which was her greatest achievement. Adjusting to life as a mother with support of family and friends. Everything was going well...she had a perfect life. Although she would never admit it she still harboured feelings and felt incomplete without the the one person who she never wanted to see. Can found betrayal everywhere...Having found out the lengths his own mother had gone to to get Sanem out of his life. But fate had plans for the two lost lovers...and crossed their paths again. After Can had come to work on a campaign at Sanem the two met again. Can found out about the secret Sanem had been keeping. Could their lives be complete without each other...could they rebuild their lives forgive and forget build trust and be complete as a family.

However, the memories of their past love are so important than her, maybe too important. Will she stick around or save herself the heartache. This is my first fanfic or story. I hope you will like it. I merge some characters of my beloved Erkenci Kuş with the upcoming series Bay Yanlış (Mr. Wrong). As the series is expected to start filming in May. I use as inspiration the plot that was publish by Gold Film. This story will be classified as mature content, but don't expect it right away, it will appear as the story will develop. Sanem Aydin is a Global Director of @EarlyBird Jewelry Division of the Aydin Holding, a Family Co. dedicated to Cosmetics/Perfumes/Jewelry. Her father, Nıhat Aydin built this empire from scratch. He came from a modest family from Istanbul. He work hard in to receive an education and build his company, that in years became the #1 company in its field with offices in Turkey, Spain and Italy. Sanem is a well educated woman, she received a top notch education. She went to the King's College of Madrid, a Boarding School and the University of Bologna, Business School. Graduated top of her class. This not only serves well to the family business, but her's as well. She speaks Turkish, Spanish, Italian and English.
