Percy is basically betrayed, but that's not what this completely focuses on. It's brought up and is a reason for the cause of events, but what unfolds is merely the plot. Perseus Jackson is the son of Eros, the god of love, procreation, and sexual desire and Loki, the god of shape-shifting, mischief, fire, trickery, and ice. (You may be asking how two males can have a child, please read, and you will find the answer.) He is also the Fates' son and plaything. They screw with his life, A LOT. He goes to Camp Half-Blood, much to Loki's displeasure, because of Eros, but Loki puts a spell on Percy to make him seem as if he is a son of Poseidon. Both Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan play out, and this takes place during the end of the final battle with Gaea (I change the end up a tiny bit). You may have read fan fictions about Percy Jackson being a god, but this one trumps them all (but I may be a bit biased). Of course it could also just be really stupid.
