Clay is the masked Dream, afraid of the world. He paints pictures of emotions he longs to feel - love, happiness, as well as emotions he feels too often - fear, sadness, and anxiety. He never showed his face when painting to escape the media. Everything was as fine as it could be, until Clay meets the bright and enthusiastic George, who pulls him into the world to show him emotions he had only painted. George painted Clay's world with emotions he had never felt before.
