When Luke meets Michael he wants him as far as possible to prevent hurting him. But that can't always be stopped.

"Next!" The fortune teller calls. Michael smiled sheepishly at Ashton as he pulled back the curtain, walking in and taking his seat. They didn't believe in this crap; it was a dare. The fortune teller didn't look at her ball, or even Michael for that matter. She looked past his shoulder, her hands slightly shaking as they rested on the table. "You have a dark spirit following you." Who knew from that day, Michael's world would get turned upside down, all by a dark spirit named Luke Hemmings.

"I didn't want to believe what I was hearing when Ashton called me, crying his eyes out about what had happened to you... But you're going to be okay, I know you will... Because I need you... I need you to stay with me"

Michael's one night stand with Luke turns out to be a lot more than what either of them thought.
