If you're one of those weirdos that actually reads the description, basically, (spoilers if you haven't seen Kokichi's love hotel) but in this fan fic, it is the universe of Kokichi's love hotel. Kokichi is a phantom thief, and Saihara is a Detective. Everyone in town knows of the wealthy 16-year-old gentleman named Ouma; he's heard to be charming, host parties often, and he somewhat mysterious, although, no one knows how Kokichi is so wealthy. Anytime someone tries to ask him about it, he seems to avoid giving direct answers or disappears around a corner. A well-know detective named Shuichu Saihara, despite being only 17, has lots of people praise him for his intelligence ever since he solved a very complex case, mainly on accident. Saihara has had his eye on Kokichi for a while ever since a recent robbery had a small link to the wealthy individual. Will he be able to learn more about this mysterious Kokichi Ouma? (Well, of course he will, pffff) All possible pictures that appear in this story are NOT owned by me and are only used as visuals.

Shuichi Saihara and Kokichi Ouma: They're the most popular at Hope's Peak Academy. Yet, they are sworn enemies. Kokichi, in specific, HATES Shuichi. Shuchi just... doesn't like him. !phantom thief au! !lowercase intended! kokichi is a famous thief, stealing the greatest treasures with the help of his 'evil' organisation; dice. he says evil, but that's not the case at all. what started off as fun little pranks in the city turned to massive heists happening every friday. at this point, the heists were a source of entertainment to dice, especially for kokichi. he loved to tease the detective that chased him through every hall of the heist. the most entertaining piece of all would definitely be the edge of the night, end of the heist. that would be when he got some alone time with shuichi. when they were no longer running, but standing right in front of each other. shuichi always had the chance to catch him right then and there, but he never did. he talked to the thief instead, like he hadn't just stole thousands and thousands worth of jewellery, art, etc. that was the most entertaining part of it all. when he had a chance to talk to his beloved detective. every friday night, "farewell, my detective." "farewell, my phantom thief." it went like that. but what happens when one day, shuichi find himself at a starbucks with a particularly cute face working there. kokichi.

I have rewritten this book. It's the only other book on my page. This version is old and idiotically written to me. (TW) Kokichi starts to notice flower petals as he coughs. As he tries to tell the others, they only tell him 'That is a lie.', 'Stop lying, Kokichi!' Only one person would truly understand his pain. Only one person. The one person he cannot tell.
