In the post-war, dystopian Chicago, factions are valued over blood. A long-time relationship between Audrey and Eric, both Dauntless-born seems to be going stronger, but with the Choosing Ceremony coming up, will one of them separate from their faction or will initiation prove that Audrey belongs to someone else, to someone who will be known as Four? That one day that is given to you, to choose, can shape your life forever. There is no going back. It will be a choice between one or the other. It will be all about choices and the consequences. The one that society accepts, condones and approves of or the one that challenges every belief that Audrey holds?

Eric and Four have some new initiates to train. But Eric soon finds out that his Erudite crush transferred to Dauntless and seems to be in his way. Eric finds out later that he might start to have feelings towards her. But when he finds out she's divergent, he has to choose to stay in Dauntless or betray Dauntless. Although the scars on her back and memories of her father continue to haunt her even after she's left. That's when a Dauntless leader thought to be heartless by everyone else walks into her life, and changes it for the better. A fanfiction based on Divergent

[ON HOLD] Imara Ember was born Abnegation. She lives a simple, selfless life devoted to helping those around her. However, Imara feels as though she is an outcast in her faction. When the time for her aptitude test approaches, she desperately hopes her result will be different; however, in her case the results are inconclusive, labeling her as a Divergent. Imara, heavily thrown off by her results, has to choose for herself. She makes the conscious decision of choosing Dauntless, the faction dedicated to protecting the people. On the parallel end is Darcie Brenton, born of Erudite faction. Her aptitude test reveals that she is destined to be Dauntless. Despite her results, Darcie fears she is not brave enough to transfer due to the impounding pressure of her controlling mother. However, when she sees a fellow Erudite effortlessly switch to Dauntless, she decides to make the change herself. When Imara and Darcie cross paths in the Dauntless initiation, they find an immediate connection. They both share a goal of wanting to overcome their past and prove those who doubt them wrong. The two befriend Tobias and Eric, who are constantly at war with each other. Eventually and with much hesitation, they band together and form an alliance. Imara and Tobias, with their alternate thinking, begin to uncover secrets behind their faction system: every second of every day, they are being observed by some unknown power in attempt to find the perfect society for sustaining peace.

Just a little thing I'm doing to hone my writing skills. This is strictly casual, I just need to practice writing good dialogue and imagery and so on. Comments would be nice just to tell me what I'm doing right or wrong.

Tris finds herself caught. When Eric confesses his love for her, and Four constantly giving her hints. What will happen? The next Choosing Ceremony is rapidly approaching, and the entirety of Chicago are preparing for the upcoming event. For the existing members of Dauntless, things are already changing daily and Jac finds herself in the middle of some big changes. She has to sacrifice the things that she already knows and does for the sake of the people she loves, as well as stumbling upon the biggest dilemma she's had to face yet. Torn between what she knows is right, the people that want her to do wrong, the people she loves and the people that she wants to save, Jac has to make the biggest decision of her life, even if it causes more pain.

A brother and sister escape from an abusive father in Candor to the ironically daunting Dauntless compound. With only each other, they must fight to stay together, and to stay in Dauntless. The alternative? Become one of the factionless. (I don't own anything you recognize) I'm currently in the process of rewriting the first few chapters. Maybe possibly an Eric x OC, too.
