After Tord retreated back to the Red army, he had never really felt content. He disbanded the Red Army and set off for Edd's house to apologize.

The story starts with an altered ending to the End: Part 2. When Edd goes to find Tord after Tom shot down his giant robot with his harpoon gun. Edd soon realizes his feelings but it's too late and he doesn't know when he will see Tord again.

Tords an average antisocial moody teen and Edd's a bright lightbulb, maybe what happens will work out, maybe it won't?

Edd goes out for a stroll in the park when he comes across a guy, with two hair spikes and a red hoodie.
