Story based upon the Klaroline couple of the vampire diaries. During the second world war ...klaus is running from his father and is made to stay in a small french village with his infantry. There he meets Caroline a beautiful waitress and a vampire. But her story isn't as simple as it seems. He begins walk into this seemingly beautiful girls shoes. And he's surprised and shocked by the past and present that haunts her day in ,day out.

Klaus smirks down at Caroline, his arms on either side of her head still trapping her against the wall. Crossing her arms she glares up at him. Klaus opens his mouth to say something but before he can get anything out they are interrupted by an all too familiar voice. "Is everything alright here?" Headmistress Mcgonagall asks the pair raising her eyebrows at them as she steps back into her classroom after helping an unfortunate fourth year untangle himself from the top of the Astronomy Tower. Klaus steps back, allowing Caroline to escape, and flashes Mcgonagall a charming smile. "Off course, Professor. Caroline and I were just working on our house unity." - It is a well known fact that Slytherins and Hufflepuffs don't usually get along. Though the houses might not be long time adversities like the Slytherins and Gryffindors, the relationship between the two houses isn't what you would call simpatico. Intelligent, good looking, charming, rich and from one of the few remaining pure blood families on the planet, Klaus Mikaelson is practically a king amongst his fellow Slytherins, despite his rude, arrogant and rather lacking demeanor. Caroline Forbes is kind, caring, and though she's a slight control freak, she always has a smile on her face. Though she is pretty popular among the Hufflepuffs, not many people in other houses know her - and the ones who do know her constantly take her for granted. No two people could seem more different and yet at the same time, more alike than they realize. Forced to spend time together in a slightly unfortunate situation, the two start to see more of each other than they ever have before. Though Klaus is surprisingly unbothered by this unexpected turn of events, Caroline is not as amused. But what she doesn't understand is that she mustn't underestimate the allure to darkness. After all, even the purest hearts are drawn to it. - NOTE: I do not own most of the characters as well as the location.

Mystic falls is being controlled by a pack of strong vicous wolves and the gang runs out of hybrid blood. Caroline Forbes is sent to New Orleans to ask for more blood from Klaus. when she gets to New Orleans she finds that not only does Klaus have a baby with Hayley but he is trying to rekindle his romance with Aurora, how will she take this??
