Girls' Frontline | Lost Empires In 2056, a catastrophic meteor shower struck earth and wiped out over 56% of the human population as well as all of our satellites. Nuclear winters were triggered across the planet and for hundreds of years the human population were subjected to harsh conditions. As the surviving human nations, now crippled, turned on each other for what little resources were left. Earth became a hostile toxic world with overgrown jungles that have become hazardous to humans. The skies have grown dark and few sunlight can be found. Much of civilization was regressed to a pre-industrial state as advanced technology became harder to come by. During this dark age, mutated humans were twisted into an animalistic state and aggressive plagues began to ravage the rest of civilization. Within 4 centuries however of apocalyptic technological regression and endless war, new nations began to rise from the irradiated wastelands and many began to discover old technologies lost to time. However large portions of earth are still irradiated deadlands and these act as territories of ruin for the mutated monsters that now roam the lands In 3024, Within the badlands, a growing boy will stumble across a wealth of military knowledge. What if Simon Riley, AKA Ghost, and the rest of task force 141 were never part of the SAS and US Military? What if they were part of the mercenary organization known as Sangvis Ferri? In the year 2009, Ghost and the rest of the 141 were betrayed by one of their own and left to die. Ghost only survived because someone had placed him in a SF cryo facility somewhere in the country of Georgia. 53 years later, Ghost wakes up to find the world in ruins. That is, if they trust him. Because unbeknownst to Ghost, Sangvis Ferri is responsible for the state the world is in.

Hiding from those who hunt them, the five form a bond thicker than blood as they learn to trust one another, discover secrets many would rather stay buried, and attempt to right the wrongs that were done to them. (A fun idea I had while looking through my echelons, and being inspired to write. Also an excuse to try, and get better at writing.)
