"Why is your name Twist?" "I wouldn't say Name, it's more of an embellishment." "I for one consider it oddly suits your 'twisted' life." "Atleast my life has a open choice of direction, where are You heading?" "The highway." He glances at her. "Driving backwards?" She grins. "And blind folded... I might run over you during the process." He shakes his head deriliously. "As if you haven't already." ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Alone and grieving for the past five years of his life, Twist scavenged for a chance to take his revenge on the Shane. Well, mostly to avenge his father's death. After the incident on that faithful day something inside of him broke. His will to keep on living. He was left alone and vanquished on the rigid ground of the empty cavren he once called home. There was no home left for him. The only emotions he felt from then on were raw Rage, upon the sight he saw. Agony, upon the memories he kept. Numbness, upon the life he kept living. Nothing could bring back the spirit he once had. He didn't wish for happiness. No. That was too much to ask he felt. Just a single speck of contentment would be enough for him, he desperately yearned. Because he knew a happy ending is never an option for people like him. But fate loves to play twisted games It wasn't soon until his path crossed with hers. A naive young waitress, light on her feet, who had never held a blaster before. He never would've guessed how a single person could affect one's life so much. Especially when they seemed polar opposites. Her constantly tumbling down would never have deemed a problem to him until she was tumbling into his dangerous life aswell. An annoyance to his already burdensome life. Yet... quite tolerable. Her childish antics and exuberant grins were anything but predictable. Perhaps that's why he still hadn't scared her away just yet. It was all more amusing. And rather, musical, to his once colourless life. Or so that he simply made himself believe in.
