How the only thing that made her feel human was a man with a metal arm. (A story to show what really happened in the comics Red Room and how it could fit into the MCU)

They've known each other their entire lives. But one thing after another years them apart. Will fate continue to bring them back together, or has their live grown cold? This is a story about wha could have happened if Steve, Bucky, and Natasha had grown up together before finding themselves thrown into the modern world. There will be three main parts: them in the 1940s, Bucky and Natasha working in the Red Room, and finally post CACW period. This will mainly be a Winter Widow story (some romance and a lot friendship) but there will be Stucky and Romanogers as friend ships. This is my first story. All characters belong to Marvel and my opinions are in no way canon.

The heartache eases as Natasha and Bucky begin a life together, away from all of the things that had torn them apart. But what will happen when the world needs them again? Will they go? The Red Room produces the greatest assassins in history. The Winter Soldier is brought in to train the Black Widows, and Natalia Romanova quickly comes to his attention. After both are punished for humanizing the perfect weapon, they meet again outside of Odessa as enemies. Years later, Natasha helps Steve Rogers rehabilitate his best friend and must discover what he remembers.
