#1 mm romance (2025/10/18) Robin Black Moving in with my nemesis was never on my bingo card this year. Offer made by one of my teammates was too tempting to refuse when I needed to get out of my current living situation. The problem was the other person who lived there. Staying with the certain broody person who hates my guts as much as hate his should be the least of my concern when I had developed the most unwanted, inconvenient crush on him. Him being straight should have been the biggest red flag but fuck I like that color on me. Mike Park I have rules that I never break. Staying with this aggravating hockey player who likes to push my button should not be this difficult. Planning to staying away from him, ignoring his existence, that should work. Right? Or that's what I thought. He is gonna be the death of me. It took a dare for turning this situation into this nightmare. Maybe I should allow myself a little. Little taste won't hurt, right?

Like a bolt of lightning, this stupid boy appeared in my life. First day of summer break between first and second grade, he just appeared- standing on my porch like he was born there. Straight brown hair, wide dark eyes and a fresh sunburn across his cheeks. He was already talking before I even opened the door. I don't know how it happened but it's been ten years. And he's still here. Talking, whether or not I'm listening. Laughing, even if no one else is. He's still too quick- racing around the world like he's scared he's going to miss it. He's gotten taller...much taller. His hair is a little longer, a little wavier, but under the light it still looks the same golden brown it did when we were nine. And now, finally, he was a high school graduate. We both were. Like a bolt of lightning he appeared and like the sun he refused to disappear. _____________________________________________ I fell asleep with my chin pointed at him, the outline of his face being the last thing I saw. How was I supposed to do this? It had always been difficult, hiding this secret, keeping him close. But now, my focus was starting to slip. I couldn't see anything but his lips, his hands, his smile. I couldn't hear anything but my name in his mouth, his jagged breaths and that loud laugh. How am I supposed to be okay with this? How am I supposed to focus on anything other than him? #1- slowburn- 11.10.25🥇 #1- friends to lovers- 11.01.25🥇 #1- fluffandsmut- 11.02.25🥇 #1- college- 11.06.25🥇 #1- best friends- 11.12.25🥇 #4- bxblove- 11.23.25 #4- boyxboy- 11.01.25 #4- lgbt- 11.15.25 #6- teammates- 10.30.25 #28- mental health- 11.09.25 #31- coming of age- 11.15.25 #36- roommates- 11.04.25 #56- basketball- 11.05.25 #60- secret relationship- 11.02.25 #74- boyxboyromance- 11.01.25

In the small, hockey-obsessed town of Rivermount, Ontario, two high school seniors couldn't be more different-or more at odds. Jace Calder is the star of the Rivermount Wolves, a brash ice hockey player with a slapshot that could wake the dead and a dream of escaping his working-class roots. Ezra Tate, once a player himself until a devastating injury stole his future, now watches from the sidelines, armed with a sharp tongue and a blog that dissects every game with brutal precision. To Jace, Ezra's a pretentious know-it-all who's never laced up a skate; to Ezra, Jace is an arrogant jock coasting on talent without substance. Their rivalry is the stuff of school legend-snide comments in the halls, shouting matches at the rink, a feud that's burned since freshman year. But when an English project forces them together, the ice between them starts to crack. Late-night library sessions and grudging teamwork reveal glimpses beneath their armor-Jace's quiet drive, Ezra's buried longing-and their barbs turn to banter, their glares to something dangerously close to understanding As the hockey season heats up, so does their tension, a slow burn of stolen glances and charged silences that neither can ignore. When a shared night on the ice unearths Ezra's past and Jace's vulnerabilities, the line between hate and something more blurs, threatening to upend everything they thought they knew about each other. Yet love doesn't come easy in o their fears-of failure, of loss, of each other. With a supporting cast of loyal teammates, a witty best friend, and a side romance between two sophomores adding warmth to the cold, Ice and Ink is a journey of rivalry, redemption, and romance. In a town where hockey is king, Jace and Ezra must decide if they're enemies, allies-or something worth risking it all for.

The trade had been sudden, the kind that no one had seen coming. But in a sport like hockey, trades were part of the game. And for Rainier Colton, the enforcer, the bruiser, the player who had spent years being passed around like an afterthought, it was just another day in the life. It had been a hard decision, but this time, there was no escape. The Vipers were sending him to the Devils, and there wasn't a thing he could do about it. He didn't want to go, but what was the alternative? He had nowhere to belong. He didn't belong anywhere. The trade was one more page in the story of his career-a career defined by being the "hired muscle," the guy who played hard and left everything on the ice. What he wasn't prepared for, though, was Ambrose Wheaton. Ambrose was the captain of the Devils-dominant, confident, everything Rainier wasn't. He was a natural leader, the kind of player who made his team feel like a family. Ambrose was known for his strength, his presence, and his unwavering care for his teammates. Rainier? He was the outsider. The loner. The guy who kept his distance. But there was something in Ambrose's gaze when he first saw Rainier. A challenge, an invitation, something that made Rainier's pulse quicken, even if he wasn't ready to admit it.

This is a story about a hockey team, but above all, a story about boys. Brooks Myers is the captain of the Oakridge Otters and he's willing to do whatever it takes to hear his name called at the NHL draft next summer. Elias Somerset is a freshly crowned World Junior champion, forced to move back to the small town of Aspen to play for his father's old team. In Brooks' eyes, Elias is nothing but an obstacle in his way and Elias just wants to survive the year, and forget. Both boys live and breathe hockey. Both boys are lost in their own lives, but have to work together to win a Championship. Can they learn to play together despite their differences? Is there something in life worth more than hockey? In the end, the line between obsession, desire, and love is thinner than either of them dares to admit.

Aiden Rowe never asked for hockey. He doesn't like the cold, the crowds or the jocks. He'd much rather spend his time watching birds. But when he gets stuck covering the Port Howe Puffins for the school paper, his senior year suddenly revolves around freezing rinks, team dinners, deadlines and a sport he doesn't really understand. Somewhere between the chaos though, he finds someone who actually sees him and maybe hockey (and Port Howe) aren't the worst things after all. A cute and occasionally unhinged story about finding warmth (and love) in the unlikeliest of places. Content warning: lots of bird nerding Note: This is very much a queer romance with mature themes.

But their arrogance believing themselves divine led to their downfall. The gods sent a plague that turned the infected into savage, soul-eating monsters. In a desperate bid to survive, the nine kingdoms united to form the Xandorian Empire. Despite their differences, they were bound by a single purpose: to fight the growing darkness. In this new empire, every teenager reaching seventeen is conscripted to fight. Their paths as either warriors, scribes, or dragon riders chosen for them by fate. Amidst the chaos and despair, hope flickered in the heart of the Xandorian Empire, like a candle in the dark, waiting to be ignited by the courage of its people or maybe just a white haired boy. ____________________________________________ ~Any bad comment will be taken down. ~I do not own any of the pictures in this story and got them all from Pinterest. ~This is a BL.
