"You are late Hazel, it's almost time," Katrin said as she came running out of the stage looking exhausted. "I know. Thank you for covering for me" I thanked and ran to change into the outfit which I didn't even like a bit. I could hear DJ announcing my stage name. I took a deep breath and put on a mask that hides my half face from all the predators present here. With a hammering heart, I walked on stage. I'm never going to get used to it. People cheered for me as I walked on stage but my steps halted as soon as they met with cold forest green eyes. With a clenched jaw, he kept looking at me making my whole body go numb.
